Niceville High School has always been highly competitive in athletics in the state. Your Boys and Girls
Track team is no exception as every season Niceville qualifies numerous athletes for the Regional
and State Meet. Last year both Niceville Boys and Girls won the Okaloosa County Championship and
went on to qualify 24 Boys and Girls for the Regional Meet. This year both teams will have some of
the top athletes in the Region and State. We will field a team that will consist of over 70 members. In
order for our runners to attend FHSAA sanctioned meets, we are required to travel as far as Orlando,
to compete in the Championship Meet series. It is very expensive since we are responsible for 100%
of the costs. This is why we need your help.

Our budget this year is approximately $8,000 - $10,000 to cover such expenses as bus
transportation, meet entrance fees, hotels etc. We are asking local businesses and friends to sponsor
us to help meet our costs this year. For your Sponsorship of $100 or more, your company’s name will
be added in large font and color to a banner that will travel and be displayed at every meet. You will
also receive a framed autographed picture of the 2009 Track Team to display at your home or office
recognizing you as a Sponsor and thanking you for your donation. This is a great way for you to
advertise your business and show school spirit. Most importantly, it helps our Track athletes on their
way to the state meet in May.
