The high water alarm conveniently communicates when the filter is clogged, indicating that service is necessary. With this package, you protect your septic components downstream, while maintaining proper filter flow. A Zoeller Septic Tank Filter will improve the performance of your septic system and help protect your lateral field from clogging. The filter is designed to limit the size of particulate that can pass out of the septic tank. The Zoeller filter will pass no solid larger than one-sixteenth inch (1/16"). By preventing solids from reaching the lateral lines, the life of the system can be increased and expensive repair bills may be avoided. The Zoeller filter should be cleaned each time the septic tank is pumped or as needed. More frequent cleaning will not hurt the filter and could even improve the performance of your septic tank. For installations that exceed the design flow rate of one filter, use a manifold type arrangement to add as many filters as required.
