How To Reset Windows XP Password
It is known to all that password is the very important access to PC. If you forget all about it, you can
recover windows password by removing SAM files.

I've been working with passwords each day at home, at work, in my BlackBerry. I've been
using so many service online that it has become very unlikely to keep a record of all
passwords. I'm currently using more than 20 websites that need authentication. Aside from
that I also keep private and delicate info on my computer and I want to protect my operating
system with a password and also enable other user account since lately we share one PC
with my husband.

It is known to all that password is the very important access to PC. If you forget all about it,
you can recover windows password by removing SAM files. Well, the password of Windows
XP is put in the SAM file of Windows/System32/Config. SAM file is the account password
database file. When we log on the system, the system will proofread immediately with the
SAM file in the Config. You can not log on till your password and user's name are found the
same as that of SAM file. If not, you are unable to log. That is to say, we are able to restore
it by deleting SAM files.

Another way to reset windows password is like this : Windows has an incorporated feature
that creates a floppy diskette that helps you reset your password in case you don't
remember it. This feature is accessible from Control Panel in the User Accounts applet. To
form a password reset disk, click on the user account and click'prevent a forgotten windows
password'. You'll need one blank formatted floppy disk to finish the task. Keep the floppy
disk in a secure place for use in case of a forgotten password.

When entering the windows password reset disk into Windows XP, press the key
combination'Ctrl + Alt + Del', there will pop up a window of'Windows Security', click'Change
Password', in this window, you can backup the existing user password, then click
the'Backup' and turn on'Forgotten Password Wizard' and set up password reset disk by
following the clues.

If you log on with the wrong password in the Windows XP, there will pop up a box of'Login
Failed'. And if you cannot remember your own password, you can click'Reset' to start the
password reset magician and reset the new password by the password reset disk.

However, not everybody ; is using Windows XP. Other Windows systems have alternative
ways to recover Windows admin password. If all of the above doesn't work for you, it is
strongly recommended to download a Windows Admin Password Resetter.
