Sun Trust Scholarship Sweepstakes
       - $1000-
       - Awarded every 2 weeks between October 31 – May 11
       - Registration begins Sept. 14, 2007. You may re-enter every 2 weeks after Oct. 31, 2007.
       - Free to enter and eligibility not based on GPA or financial need.

Lawson State Community College Scholarship Committee
       - Minimum GPA 2.75
       - Awards are given for the cost of tuition.
       - Recipients must take at least 12 hours and maintain a 3.0.
       - Deadline : Before the scholarship committee meets which is two weeks before the end of the
           each semester.
Jefferson State Community College
       - Fifteen Full tuition scholarships awarded.
       - Minimum of 3.0 GPA and 20 ACT.
       - Other scholarships for Speech Team, Newspaper Staff, Radio Staff, Jeff State Singers and
           College Theatre. Students should send in the application and the admissions office at Jeff
           State will direct their questions about these other scholarships.

Shelton State Community College
       - Awards given for tuition for students taking 15 hours each semester.
       - Minimum ACT of 20 or SAT of 526.

Scholar Athlete Milk Mustache of the Year (SAMMY) Scholarship
        - 25 awards of $7,500, a weekend in Disney and an opportunity to be pictured in the Milk

           (10%), and milk experience (%5).

UAB Summer Bridge Program
       - Minority students planning on majoring in science, technology, engineering or math who are

Adam Marcus Marmurek Memorial Scholarship
       - Award is $1000-
       - This is a memorial scholarship honoring a Pizitz Middle School student who excelled
          academically and athletically while undergoing chemotherapy.
       - Applicants should demonstrate the same attributes as Adam, giving 100% regardless of
          circumstances.
       - An essay on future plans and the need for this scholarship is required.

Seabee Memorial Scholarship
       - Awards for children, step-children, and grandchildren of Regular, Reserve, Retired or
