The members of the worship team will take turns leading worship. Today the sermon is based on Luke 12:54-56 and is titled “Interpreting the Times.” Communion will conclude our worship time. Bring lawn chairs. There will be food. In the event of bad weather, it will be held at the church. Next Sunday after worship we will have a fellowship meal followed by a continuing discussion on the worship space process. For the meal, if your last name begins with A-K, you should bring a main dish / L-Z, bring a salad and a pie. This is the week for Vacation Bible School, to be held Wednesday through Friday. On Wednesday through Thursday it will be held from 9:00 am - 3:30 pm.. .. on Friday from 9 am until lunch. If you can come and help, please talk to Jeryl or Susan Horner-Till. Jim and Paula Hanes and children plan to visit Senegal this summer to encourage the believers there and discern together in what ways they can be of use when they return to Senegal in 2010. Mennonite Mission Network will fund a part of their expenses but they need to raise an additional $4300. If you would like to give them a love gift to help them on this visit, place your check in the offering plate during the month of June, designated for The Hanes family . Prayer blankets – in addition to the blanket for Elizabeth Marias, a blanket for Steve and Ginger (as they cope with health issues) has been placed in the foyer. Please take time to sign and tie a knot as you pray. The June Food Bank item is chili. Larry Mast’s robotic surgery for prostate cancer is scheduled for June 29 at 2:00 pm in Austin, Texas. From July 1 to September there will be no monthly Sunday cluster meals scheduled. Clusters may plan their own summer activities. Treasure Valley 2009 is right around the corner !! (June 18-20 9 at Nampa, Idaho). It is important to get registration materials in right away. See Jeryl for a registration packet. Nampa Presbyterian Church, just a short walk from the campus, has given us their building for worship on Sunday morning. Please arrange your travel plans so that we can all join for worship before we all head to our homes and places of ministry” PNMC office staff Silent auction items are needed at the PNMC annual meeting. The Idaho Mennonite Relief Sale Board is sponsoring Silent Auction tables at the PNMC annual conference, June 19-20. Proceeds will be divided between PNMC and MCC Giving project (daycare in Bolivia). We are hoping for several items from each congregation. Any unsold items will be saved for the 2010 Idaho relief sale. Please let Jeryl know today if you have something to contribute. We are half way through our collecting money in the baby bottles for our local Hope Pregnancy Ministries. The deadline will be Father’s Day, June 21.
