Film Production Design by Academy Award Winner
                           GRANT MAJOR
New Zealander Grant Major has been nominated for four Academy Awards
and four British Academy of Film Awards (BAFTA) for his work as a
production designer on “King Kong” and “The Lord of the Rings” trilogy.
Major won an Academy Award for his work on “The Return of the King”,
and has won numerous other prestigious awards from the Art Directors
Guild of America.

His other film credits include “Heavenly Creatures”, “The Frighteners”, “An
Angel at my Table”, “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe”, and “Whale
Rider”. Major also has extensive experience as an art director for telefilms
("Hercules") as well as commercials (including Singapore Airlines) and
news programs.

Major has also utilised his skills in production design from Commonwealth
Games ceremonies to designer for the New Zealand Pavilions at the World
Expos, to design consultant for the Louis Vuitton 150th year party in New
York, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Paris.
