Save the date - July 6 and 7, 2009 for an Industry Workshop on a Potential Doyle Drive Public Private Partnership Opportunity The California Department of Transportation and the San Francisco County Transportation Authority will be holding an industry workshop to discuss potential public-private partnership (P3) opportunities on the Doyle Drive Replacement Project under the recently approved California Senate Bill 4. Doyle Drive connects the City of San Francisco to the Golden Gate Bridge along Route 101 passing through the Presidio of San Francisco, part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. This 1.9 mile facility constructed in 1936 has reached the end of its useful life and is to be replaced with a parkway. Additional information on the Doyle Drive Replacement Project can be found at www.doyledrive.org. The Doyle Drive P3 industry workshop will be held on July 6 and 7, 2009, at the Golden Gate Club, Presidio of San Francisco, 135 Fisher Loop, San Francisco, CA 94129. Further information on the workshop will be sent to you next week and will also be posted on the project web site listed above.
