WHAT DOES WLCGA DO?
WLCGA is NOT just about team golf or
junior development, but golf for all
Without county involvement there would be
far more onus on golf clubs and their
committees
County golf is another mouthpiece and
communication link for ELGA and the LGU
The first port of call for club queries and
problems concerning any golf related matter
– rulings, handicaps, standard scratch score
etc
WHAT DOES WLCGA DO?
14 people on committee – working tirelessly
on your collective behalf – all voluntary
positions
Key role in the development of the game –
WLCGA is a marketing vehicle for golf,
fuelling interest in club membership
PLUS … we also happen to organise events
for all of you - venues always needed to
host county events
County Golf therefore represents an
important facet of the game, and is not just
for the elite golfers but all club golfers
