Assist in development of appropriate communication and information strategy to support and/or advocate programme development. (inc. reception, data entry, photocopying, faxing etc.) March 2003 – June 2004 (Work Experience – 5 days per week) COMMUNITY SERVICE PEER HIV/AIDS COUNSELOR, NIMA-MAAMOBI, SALVATION ARMY URBAN AID CLINIC.  Conduct weekly community based counseling on STI’s, HIV/AIDS for youth groups and individuals.  Referrals of young people to the counseling clinic for voluntary testing of HIV/AIDS, teenage pregnancy and to seek for early treatment for STI’s.  Research duties (inc. relevant cases of HIV/AIDS prevalence rate, teenage pregnancy etc) in the community.  Visit house to house in the communities of Nima and Maamobi to educate young people about the dangers of HIV/AIDS and STI’s.  Data entry of all places visited and number of youth (male & female) referred to the clinic.  Worked hand in hand with the Health Education and Research Unit of Ghana health service
