					JIMS 69 CAMARO PRO TOURING SPEC SHEET:
THIS CAR WAS PURCHASED IN AUGUST OF 2002. IT WAS BASICLY A BASKET CASE. ORIGINAL 6 CYLINDER GRANMAS CAR. IT WAS PURCHASED AS A ROLLING BODY WITH ORIGNAL 10 BOLT REAR END, NON DISC BRAKES, 350 TRANSMISSION AND NO MOTOR. MY FIRST ORDER OF BUSINESS WAS TO STRIP THE CAR DOWN AND REMOVE EVERY NUT A BOLT. I DIDN’T SAVE MUCH OF ANYTHING BECAUSE EVERY PART IS GOING TO BE NEW. I LOADED UP THE BODY, DOORS AND SUBFRAME AND TOOK IT TO THE LOCAL STRIPPER TO HAVE THE BODY AND PARTS CHEMICALLY STRIPPED IN A VAT OF ACID FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS. AFTER THE BODY WAS REMOVED IT WAS SODA BLASTED AND TREATED WITH A NUETRILIZER. THE BODY HAD A LOT OF RUST. MY PLANS FOR THE CARS BODY IS TO MINI TUB IT, INSTALL IN FLOOR FRAME CONNECTORS, RELOCATE THE REAR SPRINGS INWARD, REPLACE REAR SPRINGS AND SHOCKS, REPLACE FRONT SUSPENSION WITH ALL NEW STATE OF ART FRONT SUSPENSION, INSTALL 4 WHEEL BEAR DISC BRAKES, REPLACE THE REAR FULL QUARTERS, REPLACE FLOOR PANS, TRUCK PAN, DECK LID, HOOD, GLASS, TRIM, INTERIOR AND NEW DRIVETRAIN. THANKS TO THE HELP OF KYLE AND STACY TUCKER OF DETROIT SPEED AND ENGEENERING, AND THEIR TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AND PARTS, I PROCEEDED TO CUT AND NOTCH THE REAR FRAME RAILS, MINI TUB REAR WHEEL WELLS, CUT AND INSTALL THEIR FRAME CONNECTORS AND INSTALL A NEW REAR UPPER SHOCK MOUNT CROSS MEMBER.
