Michel’s project status (Sept 05)
Among all studies and research about cars running with pure water, only few seems credible, those of Standley Meyer. Among all Standley Meyer’s patents, we are focusing mainly on the 4 936 961, considered as a first step to reach, before analyzing and testing the improvements with gas treatment by laser light, direct water injector, … We believe in the S. Meyer’s concept, described in the patent 4 936 961, based on the break of the covalent bonds between Hydrogen and Oxygen in the water molecule, when it’s stressed by a high pulsed electrical field, in order to produce hydrogen and oxygen gas on demand in a car running with water. We have been studied the subject for 2 years by reading lot of documents on physics, chemistry and electronics, and have also done lot of basic tests to understand the project and other ideas. We followed the discussions on lot of Forums (watercar, icube, OUpower …) We have also a small Lab to do tests and experiences, and to practice.

1. Our scope:
Based on the S. Meyer’s patent, we would like :  to produce H2 / O2 bubbles in the WFC only from water, without any additional chemical product;  to find the right electronic driving method, called “step charging effect” He hope that the global yield (energy in / energy out) will be greater than 1.

Electronic part:  Low frequency generator  Oscilloscope 2 Y way  Lab power supply  DIY power supply modules (320 V, 640 V, …)  Very high voltage circuits (got from old monitors)  Digital multi meters  Electronic components , …. 4. Work and tests already done :
Our target was to proceed step by step, mainly to check separately the different parts. Reports are in French language. Some topics:
 Standard electrolysis with water:

- Without using alkaline product, we tested what happen in water by applying a voltage on the electrodes. - At the beginning, the leakage current in water is small, and no bubbles. This current increase with the voltage and temperature (and also with the time). The small production of bubbles is linked to the current and temperature. - Even with distilled water, the current starting at 750 mA can reach 1200 mA under 320 V dc ! Water temperature can reach more than 60°C Not in our scope .
 Water behavior: - Conductivity of water and leakage current in water depending on applied voltage and driving signal type, frequency, …

 Electrodes qualification: - Value of the capacity with / without water; comparison between theoretical and measured value (90% same) - Capacity as a function of electrodes’ size, gap, and applied voltage, temperature

 Water fuel cell qualification (electrodes in water)

- Impedance of WFC (resistive, capacitive and inductive parts) => Impedance is mainly a pure resistance, independent of the dc signal frequency - Value of the leakage current as a function of applied voltage (seems constant in the range 12 to 650 V)
 Driving circuit (VIC)

- Pulsed signal: square ?

- Transformer qualification: type, primary/secondary ratio, band pass , … - Step charging effect as described in the patent: how to get it , what are the sensitive parts involved (frequency of the signal, diode, charging choke, inductance, WFC, …) Conclusion: We got the “step charging effect” as described in the patent, by using a real capacitor in place of the WFC.
 Main conclusion of the tests:

The schematics and process, as described in the patent, cannot work, because the step charging effect is not possible with a WFC as described by S. Meyer. The water fuel cell (like in the patent) is not playing as a capacitor, but as a pure resistor, even with very pure water. We think that the WFC must be a true capacitor in order to make this patent work We are currently focusing on that point.

5. Our key points to reach :
o o o o o No dc current in water No temperature increase High electrical field must be applied between the 2 electrodes to stress the water molecule. Electrical resonance is only possible with inductive part of the charging choke, and the pure capacitive part of the WFC In that case, the step charging effect will be possible.

6. Key points of the patent 4 936 961
In our point of view: o The step charging effect is possible with a real capacitor o We believe in the global process and description o The energy we get globally is coming from the ZPE (vacuum energy)

We have checked that the dissociation process of the water molecule doesn’t need any electron coming from the negative electrode (or vice versa to get an electron from the bath to the positive electrode)

7. Open points that are still unclear:
 Driving signal:

- What is the minimum value of the voltage to start the fracturing process in water: 1000V ? more ? - Electrical resonance between L (charging choke) and C of the WFC: impossible because WFC is a mainly resistor in the range 100 Hz to 100 KHz (pulsed DC)
 Restriction flow current circuit: With any added component to restrict the current flow, the applied voltage on the WFC’s “capacitor” will decrease, and the electrical field E in the cell will also decrease !  Electrical field in water: How to measure it ? We have to find a device or specific equipment to do it.  Fall part of the “Step charging effect” :


How to get the drop: - With a discharging circuit ? - Linked to the dissociation process ?

- What should be the curve to get the charging process ? - We think that we must find the number of pulses, the level, and the good shape, in relation ship with the behavior of the nucleus + electrons , or …. !? - What is the link between the step charging effect (curve, level, frequency, …) and the energy level of the electrons around the nucleus ?

The target of this project status is mainly to summarize what was done, what to do, how to continue. If anybody could work in the same manner, to get a clear status at a point of time, we could share our experience and results. Probably a question for one guy would be an answer for an other. The common issue or questions could be addressed by a group of people. Our next target: To make the WFC to be a true capacitor !
