Swami Pratyagbodhananda is at home in handling three languages - English, Gujarati and Hindi. He teaches in all these languages, not only Vedantic texts like the Gita, Upanisads, Panchadasi, and the like, but also Tulsi's Ramayana and the Bhagavata Purana. Swami Pratyagbodhanada has had extensive satsang with Swami Akhandananda Saraswati and his disciples in Brindavan. His discourses on Ramayana and Bhagavatam reflect these invaluable devotion-rich satsangs. He has been teaching Vedanta for the past 22 years in Surat, India under the auspices of Viswa-Mangalam. He also teaches at Arsha Vidya Gurukulam in Saylorsburg, Pennsylvania. In his tours of North America, sponsored by the Gurukulam, he has touched the hearts of a number of people. THYAGARAJA ARADHANA FESTIVAL May 16, 2009 CMAO music lovers welcome all of you to participate enthusiastically in our Annual Thyagaraja Festival this year on Saturday May 16th 2009. This program is supported by our Hindu Temple of Greater Dayton. This event is to be held at our Hindu Temple starting at 8:00 AM with “Rama Pooja” This festival is to pay sincere respect, by singing/playing, by all young and senior carnatic musicians to all our Trinities of Carnatic music -- St. Thyagaraja , Muthuswami Dikshathar and Shyama Sashtri, including other great composers. After the “Rama Pooja”, a group of Dayton & Cincinnati group will sing “Pancharathna Kritis", followed by individual singing by everyone. Please attend and enjoy the event. There will be free lunch from our volunteers. If you have any questions, to give names for bringing lunch items and for participation please call coordinators (Ravi & Lakshmi Ravikumar) at (937) 558-0463.
