A Christmas tradition has returned to downtown Strathroy with the launch of the 6th annual Silent Night Exhibit and Auction! Shoppers are encouraged to take a stroll downtown and view 25 beautiful wreaths decorated by Strathroy businesses and community groups, and on display in the storefronts of our local merchants. Each wreath will be available for silent auction until

December 15 with all proceeds going to non-profit organizations. Place a bid on your favourite wreath to take it home, and support a local charity! In addition to the 25 wreaths available downtown, be sure to catch the Junior ‘B’ Rockets wreath at all of the team’s home games from now until December 15. 100 Downtown Dollars are also up for grabs this year, to be

awarded at the close of the auction to the highest bidder on the secret “Golden Wreath.” Organized annually by Museum Strathroy-Caradoc and hosted by downtown businesses, the Silent Night Exhibit and Auction has raised over $17,000 in support of local charities over the past six years. Charities that will benefit from the event this year include Women’s Rural Resource Centre, Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Foundation, West

and Strathroy District Arts Council. Museum StrathroyCaradoc is also listed as the beneficiary on a number of wreaths. Don`t miss a single participant! Stop by Museum StrathroyCaradoc today to pick up a map featuring every host location, or visit to take a virtual tour of the wreaths up for auction this holiday season.
