Year for the business!
Volume 1, Issue 6 Summer Addition (June, July, August) 2009

Presidents Monthly Comments:
Wow, half the year is gone; school has begun once again for another year how quickly time passes us bye! The second half of the year promises to be just as busy as the first half with many activities scheduled for the th Chamber. We have the 14 annual Heritage Days st coming up, our 1 annual Chili Cook Off, Christmas on the Square, and all the holiday activities coming up. Additional projects the Chamber will be working on are Christmas lights for the city, new board and officer elections, waiting with anticipation to hear who will be awarded the license bureau office and many more projects. We will also be holding the regular member meetings at a different location going forward. It will be held at the Presbyterian Church. By moving the location this will allow much more room as well as more options for lunch that will continue to be served.

Monthly Member Meeting News:
The regular member meetings have changed meeting locations. Please take note that we will begin meeting at the Presbyterian Church at the next meeting scheduled for September 9th. Lunches will continue to be served at $7 dollars. If anyone would like to do a presentation or have an idea for a presentation at our monthly meetings please contact the chamber office. We are looking for ideas that add value for our business owners!

------------------------------------------------------Our monthly winner for August was

Community Loving Care Hospice
However no one was present to win the drawing so the amount goes to $75 dollars. Who will win next month? Be sure to attend September’s meeting!
