Hollywood, CA 12/2007- Present Compositing Supervisor, Drag Me to Hell, The Open Road &, Green Street Holigans2 Develop production pipeline and render infrastructure as well as manage and supervise a team of artists for the successful completion of production tasks. As one of four VFX vendors, I supervised the successful completion more than 50 VFX shots for the film “Drag Me to Hell”. Also , completed several VFX shots for Odd Lot Films on the projects, “The Open Road” & “Green Street Hooligans 2”. Universal Studios , BSG, Universal City, Ca 07/2007-08/2007 Digital Compositor, Battlestar Gallactica Season 4 Assemble various CG element passes and apply color and lighting treatments for final composites for Season 4 episode, Razor. Performed final composites for several battle sequences involving the assembly of star fields, weapons, battle smoke and flames, explosions, battleships and fighters, as well as planets and atmospheres. IMAX Corporation, Toronto, Ontario, Canada 05/2007-06/2007 Digital Stereoscopic Compositor/Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix in IMAX 3D As a member of the IMAX visual effects team, I performed FX composites for the stereoscopic 3D IMAX version of the film Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix using Shake as well as other proprietary IMAX software. As one of four VFX vendors, supervised the successful completion more than 60 VFX shots for “The Messengers” opening #1 it’s initial weekend. Also supervised the successful completion of more than 100 VFX shots for the film “Bangkok Dangerous.” LookFX, Hollywood, CA 01/2006- 08/2006 Digital Compositor/Match mover Superman 2 & Rocky Balboa Assisted in the development of the match move and compositing pipeline for the crowd duplication and population of stadium seats in Rocky Babloa. Using PFTrack, one other match mover and I tracked and created 3D cameras for more than 120 shots in six weeks. Also, performed more than a dozen final composites for the DVD rerelease of Superman 2 Directors Cut. IMAX Corporation, Toronto, Ontario, Canada 05/2006-06/2006 Digital Compositor/Superman Returns IMAX 3D As a member of the first IMAX visual effects team, I performed final fx composites for the stereoscopic 3d IMAX version of the film Superman Returns using Combustion as well as other proprietary IMAX software. Zoic Studios, Culver City, California 09/2004-07/2005 Digital Compositor/ Serenity/Hologram Sequence Lead Taking direction from the Visual Effects Supervisor, I designed the look of the Hologram Seq. FX . Performed more than forty final composites for the film Serenity using Combustion. The composites consist of Keying elements, tracking, stabilizing, sequential paint work, color corrections, as well as integrating both 3D elements and Camera Data. Digital Domain, Venice, California 09/2003-6/2004 Paint & Rotoscope Lead/ I, Robot Supervise and train a team of more than fifteen artists in the use of Combustion for the successful completion of more than 500 shots, on time and on budget, the film I, Robot. Work flow encompassed sequential paint work, rotoscoping, and simple composites for wire and rig removals and other plate cleanup. PDI/DreamWorks, Palo Alto, California 12/2000-01/2001 2D Animator/C.A.F.E., (Staff Core Group) Responsibilities include compositing, camera/motion tracking, match moving, stabilizing, color corrections, and roto using Shake I also wrote and published on-line tutorial documentation for the company=s training department explaining techniques for Sequential Paint using Matador64, as well as warps and morphs using Elastic Reality.
