The following is a compilation of the many job functions performed and skills obtained by Tom Cisler at Centennial Country Club. The list is lengthy. Therefore, this document should be used as a supplement to the official resume of Tom Cisler. This document has three sections. The first and largest section lists items performed on a regular/weekly basis. The second section deals with things done occasionally. The last section covers job duties that are necessitated because of the absence of college aged cart staff in the Spring and Fall.

Regular/Weekly Job Functions
1. Manage Member Golf Events. There are 20-25 of these type of events in a season ranging from “majors” (Invitational/Club Championship), to Saturday Men’s events, to Couple’s events.  Block off tee sheet in “Northstar” event planning software  Create online event sign up information using “Northstar” event planning software  Food coordination with banquet staff  Move/Check tee markers  Monitor web sign ups in “Northstar” event planning software  “Tournament Expert” golf event software tasks o Player Input o Create Teams / Hole assignments o Create Cart Cards o Create Scorecards o Create Alpha Player/Hole list for participant check in o Stored bag list for cart staff  Create Proximities (closest to pin, longest drive, etc)  Create Event Rules Sheet  Handle Last Minute additions/changes/revisions  Create Guest bag tags if applicable  Create Scoreboard or prep laptop on monitor for electronic display  Create event budget, determine prize payouts  Create Member or Guest Prize Certificates  Create Billing Sheet  Email accounting department regarding golf/food/server breakdown  Issue Member credits in “Northstar”  Post event results on bulletin board  Post event results on Centennial website

2. Manage Men’s League. Men’s League occurs every Tuesday night from May through September.  Create 1st Half and 2nd Half Billing Sheet; facilitate member billing  Send email updates to participants twice per week  Download/Import Handicaps from GAM website as required; update player indexes  Make calls to find substitutes each week  “Tournament Expert” golf event software tasks o Initial League set up at beginning of year o Edit any substitute in TE file o Make sure round robin hole assignments correct each week o Make sure proper round chosen each week o Verify hole assignments vs. Schedule o Create Cart Cards o Create Scorecards  Create Proxies  Manage weekly Skins game  Perform Bullhorn Announcements prior to shotgun start  Post Match Scoring o Update league standings by noon Wednesday o Determine Skins Winners; calculate amounts; divide monies  Weekly Results (post on web and board)  Issue proxie Credits within “Northstar” 3. 4. Manage Senior League. Senior League occurs every Tuesday and Thursday morning from May to October.  Create manual sign in sheets.  Coordinate food with kitchen staff.  Use Player List to check off players as they show up  Print scorecards  Bring hole cards into lounge o Manage personalities in pairings  Clean up dining room after they leave for golf  Block off tee sheet for turn on #1  NEED TO MANAGE TURNS AT #1 WITH OTHER PLAY.  Do event and food fee billing. After completed, initial and put in Event Binder.  Results by 5pm – Credit winning member’s accounts.  Post one copy on Bulletin board.  Post copy of Tues/Thurs results for Thursday Night Live.

5. Mange Senior Kings & Queens Events. These occur once per month during the summer.  Create pairings in “Tournament Expert” software, respecting playing preferences  Email kitchen staff with food times, budget and count  Create manual scoreboard  Post Results  Issue member credits  Administer Billing  Email accounting w/ food credits for kitchen staff 6. Manage Couples League. Couples League occurs every 2nd Sunday during the spring and summer.  Create Billing Sheet; Facilitate member billing.  Determine if substitutes are required  “Tournament Expert” golf event software tasks o Enter substitutes o Generate Cart Cards o Generate Scorecards o Generate Starting hole report  Generate proxies  Coordinate cart parking order w/ cart staff  Make Announcements  Calculate results; Post on Web/Board; Issue proxie credits

7. Manage Junior Clinics. Junior clinics occur in the spring and summer.  Prior to first Session o Create information flyer o Install info page on website o Create sign up sheets o Perform skills evaluations for advanced level students o Answer numerous phone calls questions regarding clinic issues o Write promotional articles for newsletter o Promote at Golf Trade Show o Get info ready for Junior Sign up day  At each session o Create nametags for everyone the day before session o Set YELLOW tees for GOLD group o Put nametags on counter in Pro Shop prior to the session start o Get check in sheets from file and put at front counter (note those who still need to pay) o Pull stored member clubs o Prep equipment  Lay Putters by Putting Green  Balls by Putting Green  9 Irons and Wedges by #9 green  Balls by #9 Green  Range Balls on Range  All pickers near range  Tees in Cups on Range  Place Granite Markers spaced along Artificial Turf for Beginners  Scorecards and pencils for GOLD/RED groups o Create Daily Outline for activities o Answer Parent questions o Pick up clubs, balls and tee markers after last clinic o “Skills Day” duties  Determine events  Mark Course  Prepare score sheets  Instruct staff

8. Manage Outside Leagues (Bush League, Delphi Group)  Create Cart Cards  Get Sign up sheet prepared and out to counter  Make sure cart cards are displayed  Inform cart staff as to cart count and placement  Manage tee sheet to make start lessen impact on play  Manage starting hole placement

9. Manage Outside Golf Outings. Outings occur approximately once per week.  Facilitate contractual agreement with outing organizer.  Coordinate food arrangements with the Banquet Staff  Block off on tee sheet on “NorthStar” as required  Block off Parking Lot as required for cart parking and traffic flow  Create cart parking pattern using Excel or by Hand  “Tournament Expert” golf event software tasks o Enter names, teams, starting holes and times o Generate Starting Hole List Alphabetically by Last Name for Bag Receiving o Generate Scorecards o Generate Cart Cards  Create Proximities per request from Outing organizer  Create Rules Sheet  Facilitate getting Sponsor Signs out on course  Plan Lead Outs  Run Outing Scoreboard o Use “Tournament Expert” or Manual Scoreboard  Generate Gift Certificates  Create Billing Sheet o Coordinate w/ Banquet staff

10. Update Centennial Cup Points  Create Men’s & Women’s Points chart  Update after each member event o Determine points to be awarded  Post updated sheet on Web/Board

11. Create & Modify Event sign ups pages on web  Create using event software “Northstar”  Include event details on sign up page

12. Update Centennial Golf Calendar  Make sure to have events under proper event code  Make sure times are correct

13. Author Newsletter Articles. The Centennial Newsletter is published every month.  Write articles about golf related activities  Inform member about outing dates

15. Develop Pro Shop Procedures. Procedures are needed to assure consistent execution of golf processes by seasonal pro shop employees.  Examples – Cash Register opening and closing procedures, Gift Certificate procedure, Gift Card procedure, Electronic Tee time procedure, Creating an event sign up, Updating the Centennial website  Write new procedures  Update existing procedures  Instruct Staff

16. Maintain Cart Cards  Create Cart cards w/ advertisements of club activities at least twice per month

17. Purchase Supplies  Cart Wash Nozzle  Cart cleaning supplies  Scorecard Paper  Cart Card paper  Cart Staff Radios & Clips  Name tags  Write Expense reports

18. Maintain Handicap System  Download every two weeks from GAM website  Store in Handicap folder  Post Current Course Handicaps on bulletin board

19. Take Tee Time Requests  Accommodate Member preferences  Enter times on “Northstar”  Check in golfers  Start group electronically on Northstar  Charge Guest fees where applicable

Generate Weekly Golf Staff Work Schedule  Send Schedule Input Email on Wednesday  Fill in grid with Staff availability from emails  Create schedule o Cart Staff and Pro Shop coverage o Clinic Coverage o Respect staff availability o Balance hours o Staff events with proper experienced personnel o Email out to staff with week’s instructions and highlights  Print hard copy and post in 4 areas

Cart Maintenance  Coordinate repairs w/ vendor o Label carts for repair and park in designated barn area o Contact vendor on Mondays to inform of repairs needed  Replace battery nuts if needed  Replace broken wires if needed  Clean corrosion from battery leads  Check water levels  Replace missing number decals  Replace missing “C” decals  Change flat tires  Coordinate tire repairs with Cascade Automotive o Transport flats o Pick up repaired  Remove/replace front plastic bumpers  Repair cart chargers  Check Bev Cart/Work Horse Gas; Gas Up if necessary
