YOUR SON IS COMING TO A SESSION OF BASKETBALL CAMP, PLEASE DO NOT BRING UNNECESSARY AND OR/VALUABLE ITEMS! GENERAL CAMP REGISTRATION INFO 1. You should arrive at camp between Registration on the first day of camp is the following: Hoop Group Elite Session I July 5-8 is from 10:00am to 2:00pm, Hoop Group Elite Session II July 11-14 is from 11:00am to 2:00pm, Hoop Group Elite Specialized Position Camp July 15-17 is from 12:00pm to 2:00pm, Hoop Group Academic Elite July 24-27 is from 11:00am to 2:00 pm Hoop Group Elite Session III July 28-31 is from 11:00am to 2:00pm, Hoop Group Junior Elite August 2-5 is from 1:00pm to 3:00pm, and check in at the rec center (Albright College and Rutgers University) on the first day of camp. Our program begins at 2:00 p.m. with our General Camp Meeting followed by stations and tryouts. To guarantee proper evaluation and placement, you must be present for tryouts. The first meal will be served at 5:15 p.m. on the first day of camp. The last meal of the week is lunch on closing day. Award ceremonies will be held on the last day of camp at 3:00, followed by All Star Games at 4:15 and 5:15 and camp checkout. 2. As indicated on our brochure and application, The College requires a $60.00 room key deposit. This is a refundable deposit, which must be a separate check made out to The Hoop Group and will be returned following room check and key return. You are responsible to pick up this check after turning in your key on the last day of camp. If you do not pick up this check, it will be cashed! 3. The Medical Form and Medical Waiver must be filled out. The Medical form must be signed by your doctor and parent/guardian and should be returned at registration on the first day of camp. This form is for your own safety and it indicates that you have had a physical and you are able to participate in our active program. Insurance information must be completed on the medical form. 4. Rooming request will be honored to the best of our ability. All campers will be roomed together by age and by roommate preference. ALL ROOMS AT THE COLLEGES ACCOMMODATE ONLY 2 CAMPERS. THERE ARE NO TRIPLE ROOMS. 5. Any correspondence during camp sessions should be directed to our office in New Jersey. If you wish to reach your children directly, there are pay phones throughout the dorms and we encourage you to write down the numbers when registering. 6. All fees paid to camp must be in US Dollars. If you are an international camper you must make payment in cash, a money order issued by an American Bank, or by VISA or Mastercard. 7. Due to a substantial increase in bounced checks, you must pay in full before registration. Personal checks will not be accepted at registration to pay your balance! Preferred payment methods are: CASH, Certified Check, Money Order, Visa/Mastercard. Full payment must be made two weeks before the first day of camp. No one will be permitted to start the camp program until payment is received in full. You will not be issued a room key if any problems occur or questions arise with your registration.
