Portfolio / Projects
Enterprise Applications During my three year software engineering career at ITILebanon I was involved in two Enterprise Automation Application projects.
University Management System (UMS) This project was a major source of experience and challenge for me in large scale enterprise level software systems, the project spanned three years that I will never forget. Role: Software Architect, Software Tester, Lead Developer. More details
Enterprise Management System Based on the success in the UMS project I was given a leading role in an enterprise automation system project, adding a different set of experience, challenges and success to my professional armor. The project was for a multinational water treatment & contracting group named AquaTreat, with offices all over the Middle East, the project spanned two years. Role: Software Architect, Software Analyst, and Software Project Manager. Concept: AquaTreat wanted to automate their Key Business Processes and link their remote offices together through one computer system. A client / server application including the following Key Components was implemented: Workflow Management File Archiving Inventory Management Accounting Financial Management Payroll Human Resource Management Procurement Quality Management Projects Management Tenders Management Reporting Engine
Frameworks I grasped PHP before the hype, PHP3, and lived all the gossip about its capabilities, reusability and enterprise maturity. Being object oriented minded I spent a lot of my spare time (as if I had a lot) in developing reusable components, code libraries and frameworks. Most of those were used in real life projects, but still much space for improvement. Smart Web Forms (PHP) This was the first framework I developed, included a set of object oriented use HTML forms. The framework provides easy forms creation, and validation.
PHP VML Graph Initially, this library started as part of a project that included generating dynamic VML graphs, I refractored into a set of reusable objects.
Object / Forms Generator (MySql --> PHP / C#) This is more a tool than a framework, although a set of runtime libraries are required. The tool is an object relational mapper that generates forms, domain objects, and controllers from an XML definition. The XML definition itself is auto generated from the database schema or visa versa. Initially implemented for C# then ported to PHP.
Personal Code Library (C++, PHP) A set of miscellaneous objects and APIs that I built during my career.
PHP Enterprise Workflow Framework This is my latest efforts, probably, will be an open source project, the idea is to built a modular, workflow enabled, business development and intelligence framework for PHP .
Miscellaneous Projects A set of small to medium sized applications (mostly web) that I implemented, or contributed in implementing. Note: Some of those applications were handed over completely to their customers and I have no continuous involvement with.
