									2008 DICKENS OF A HOLIDAY CRAFTS FAIR
The City of Santa Rosa Recreation and Parks Department will present the 34th Annual Dickens of A Holiday Crafts Fair at the Finley Community Center on December 6 and 7, 2008. The hours of the Fair are 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 6 and 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 7. The cost of an 8x10 booth space is $125.00. The cost for a six-foot table top display is $110.00 (very limited number). This fee is for both days. The fee is non refundable and no commission will be charged. Applicants may only request one booth/space. Booth set-ups will only be allowed on Friday afternoon and evening, December 5. PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING: This is a juried show. Past participation in any of our Crafts Fairs does not guarantee entry into the 2008 Fair. All items must be handcrafted and sold by the artist/vendor at the Fair. No imports or commercially produced items will be allowed. The Crafts Fair will be filled by categories, i.e., jewelry, woodwork, ornaments, etc. We strive to have a wide variety of items at our Fair. Booth locations may be rotated on a yearly basis. Booths must be open and exhibitors present during the event hours. No early take-downs allowed. Please do not apply if you are unable to participate both days or set up on Friday. HOW TO APPLY: Please complete the enclosed application and return with a minimum of two high quality photos representing what is to be sold. (Do not send slides or Polaroid photos.) Include a selfaddressed stamped envelope, and mail to Holiday Crafts Fair Jury, Finley Community Center, 2060 W. College Avenue, Santa Rosa, CA 95401. The application deadline is August 15, 2008 (postmark accepted). Acceptance notification will begin the week of September 1st. If you are not accepted into the Fair your photos and application will remain on file in case of cancellations. All photos will be returned in December after the Fair concludes unless requested otherwise on the application form. FACILITY AND EQUIPMENT: Finley Center has a limited number of tables; therefore, you may request one table for your booth. If accepted, you will be notified of the table size with your set-up instructions and booth location. You may utilize your own tables if you wish. A limited number of electrical outlets will be available and must be requested on the application. PUBLICITY: Rack cards and postcards will be made available to vendors accepted to the Fair. These can be distributed at other crafts fairs or sent to the customer mailing lists. In addition, we will be advertising in the Press Democrat, on local radio and TV stations, and in other Bay area newspapers and magazines.
