AHES Harvest Festival
What better way to start the year than with a beautiful, sunny Saturday of fall fun for everyone. The September 26th Harvest Festival was a great success and our profit was $1,300 – a $500 increase from last year. Thank you to all who volunteered, contributed baked goods and brought your families. Thank you to our event chair, Lisa Sanders, and co-chair, Roberta Jackson, AH girl scouts and Henry Hudson students. Thank you to Flaky Tart, American Bounce Factory, Jaspan Brothers Hardware and to Alagash 5 our great musical entertainment. Corporate donations definitely count. Thank you to SeaBreeze Cleaners for their $200 donation and Ricky’s Candy Cones & Chaos for donating $50.

Come have a great night of fun and competition to raise money for our school. Donate $75 and receive 10,000 tournament chips. $25 donation for all attendees not playing in the tournament. Last 10 players will receive GREAT prizes from local businesses!

Jersey Shore Coffee Roaster Fundraiser
We are happy to report a $1,100 profit from our Coffee Fundraiser. Thank you AHES families for your support. Students will receive their orders to distribute in 2-3 weeks.

AHES School Solar Referendum Project
Thank you to all the parents who turned out to vote on the school solar referendum. The vote outcome was 5-1 in favor of funding for solar panel installation at AHES. A big step in our effort to Go-Green! Corinna Thuss, PTO President & Linda Frasciello, PTO Vice President

NEW this year: Students will choose their own AHES logos and also have a tie-dye option! Samples will be on view at the next PTO meeting, Tuesday, October 13th at 7:30 pm. Stop by The Firehouse Specialty Shop @ 35 Center Avenue for a sample window display starting October 14th. Orders will be fulfilled by December 17th – another great holiday gift option! Our Innisbrook fundraiser can help you prepare for the holidays. Choose from truly unique products and gift-wrapping accessories made from recycled materials. Go-Green! Innisbrook supports family-owned businesses across the USA where 83% of their products are made. Order online and check out over 7,000 thank you prizes for parents. Samples can be viewed at AHES.

“Reading Around the World” - AHES Fall Bookfair Monday thru Wednesday, November 23-25th

Chaired and run by our teachers! Ready just in time for Thanksgiving! There will be a great variety of delicious pies to select from.

Tickets sale deadline: November 2nd Drawing: November 18th
Proceeds will go to Project Go-Green and the pre-k playground. Each student* has been sent home 5 raffle tickets to sell @ $5 each. If we are able to sell all 2,000 tickets, the jackpot winner will receive $5,000!

School store opens in November!
Whether buying or selling, each AHES student will gain experience in commerce and philanthropy at our small-scale commerce shop. All proceeds to go to families in need of Atlantic Highlands. The class that sells the most tickets wins a Pizza Party!

Box Tops due: October 15th
Shop for General Mills products and keep collecting Box Tops. The money we receive in exchange for Box Tops will go to yard equipment for Project Go-Green and gym/playground items.

Help the environment and make $$$ for our school. Aluminum Drink Pouch Collection
Recycled drink pouches are turned into unique products and saved from taking up space in landfills. The TerraCycle Drink Pouch Brigade™ program will donate $.02 for each drink pouch they receive to our school. Juice pouch collection:

Take Charge of Education program. Open a Target REDcard Visa card, or use your existing one.
