1 Installation: The Services HUB is best to be installed in your home where most of your time is spend in order to see when updates are sent to you from your Service providers. The HUB is installed on the wall in an upright position more or less 1,7 meters from the floor. The HUB need to be connected to electricity at all times in order for the Electricity service provider to monitor power outages and the Quality of power supply. 2 Menu’s: 2.1 Load Token (Pre-Paid Users only): The services are topped up by typing a token number, purchased from your local Vendor. Highlight Load Token on Main Menu, using the Navigation Button.

At the Load Token menu, type your electricity token number and press the Load button. A message will appear to inform you if a token was used before or typed in incorrectly.

The HUB will except the token if valid and typed in correctly by playing a melody and display the value of your loaded token. Your token value will be added to your previous balance.

2.2 Purses: All the services are rendered base units e.g. Currency, kWh, Litre, etc. Each service available will be indicated on screen with the base unit displaying the available service balance for the particular service. Highlight the Purse menu on the Main Menu and press the Select button to view your purse value.

The purse bar will be green if you have ample money left, change to orange if you have less money left and then red if your purse is nearly depleted. This indication is available for pre-paid consumers only.

2.3 Peripherals (Meter reading on kWh consumption) To be able to see your kW consumption, the steps are as follows: Select System on your Main Menu.

Geyser Switched Off

Select Peripherals on your System Menu:

View your consumption on your Electricity meter for your overall consumption or your Demand Controller which measures the consumption on your geyser.

2.4 HUB Components This menu will give you an indication if your units battery is charging, if the unit do have a data Signal, if the unit is connected to the cellular network and finally if the unit is connected to the Hefcom gateway server.

2.5 Site Maintenance This menu is for maintenance personnel from the utility (Hefcom, Citypower etc. only)
