From here you will be able to select the .txt file you just created and upload it to our systems. It is generally best to use your own descriptive website categories when classifying the offers in your feed. To see our category guidelines click the "What should I use for Category on my file?" link from the Upload Product Ads page. Title: Enter the product name (100 character max). To avoid an error, do not include any of the following: HTML tags, hard returns, quotation marks or any special characters. Some examples of special characters not to use are *, $, &,+. Link: This is an extremely important field, since this will be the URL that directs customers to the product on your Web site. The URL must be fully-formed and valid. Be sure to include http:// on your links. SKU: A unique identifier for each product, assigned by you. After you have established a SKU for a product do not change it. SKUs are case sensitive and cannot be longer than 40 characters. Price: List the product price in US dollars, without a $ sign, commas, text, or quotation marks. Do not include taxes, shipping costs, rebates, coupons, or bulk discounts. Examples Alphanumeric: Home > Bed and >Bathroom > Bathtubs Alphanumeric: OLYMPUS Stylus 810 URL: http://www.companyname.com/products/item.htm Alphanumeric: 1H3400 Numeric: 59.95 or 1000.00 (note that you should include the digits to the right of the decimal point) Strongly Recommended Fields Field Description UPC: Enter the 12 digit UPC (Universal Product Number) including any leading zeros. Do not remove or insert any characters or spaces. Without a UPC we will try to match your listing to an existing product detail page. If there is no match, we will create your listings but they will only show on similar related items. Image: Images should have 72-pixels-per-inch resolution and be at least 110 pixels on the longest side and 11 on the shortest side. Acceptable file formats are JPG and GIF, and the URL must be fully-formed and valid. Be sure to include http:// when naming your image. There cannot be any spaces in the image URL or redirects. Save the image to your Web server and enter the URL in the Image field. Description: The description should complement your title since it allows you to provide more details about your product (2,000 character max). To avoid an error, do not include any of the following: HTML tags, hard returns, quotation marks or any special characters. Some examples of special characters not to use are *, $, &,+. Manufacturer: Enter the manufacturer. Do not use your store name in this field unless you are the manufacturer. This is a very important field because it is keyword searchable. Alphanumeric: OLYMPUS Recommended Fields Field Description Examples Numeric: 2.33 or 100.00 (note that you should include the digits to the right of the decimal point) Numeric: 5.00 or 9.99 (note that you should include the digits to the right of the decimal point) Shipping Weight: Use this field if you calculate shipping costs based on product weight. Enter shipping weight in pounds, and without commas. Shipping Cost: Shipping included in the file OVERRIDES rules set in the shipping tool. This NUMERIC field should contain the lowest amount (in US$) a buyer would be required to pay to have ONLY one of that product shipped. If you have a flat rate, include that. If you have free shipping, enter 0.00. Do not use "$" or commas.
