Who may perform Physician, Credentialed All K,3,6 grade School Nurse, students. All 1st Certificated staff who grade boys. All have completed an students first approved course in entering CA vision assessment Vision Screening - schools. Teacher supervised by Regular Education referrals. Supervisor of Health Physician, Licensed chiropractor, Credentialed School Nurse, Qualified Public Health Nurse, Certificated employee of district who have Scoliosis Screening received additional - Regular All 7th grade girls qualified training (with Education and 8th grade boys Supervisor or Health).

Hearing (if using vendor)

All 1st, 2nd, 5th , 8th grade students. All teacher referrals.

Performing Specialized Health Care Procedures, direct care, regular education

Physician, Credentialed School Nurse, PHN. RN, LVN, Trained Health Aide, under the supervision of a Credentialed School Nurse.

CEC 49423.5, Section 504 of the Vacational Rehabilitation Act, PL 94142, CCR Title 5 § 3051. California Guidelines and Precedures for Meeting the Specialized Physical Health Care Needs of Pupils (Green Book)

1) Prep, 2) Travel, 3) Assist with blood glucose test, 4) Assess carbohydrate intake, 5) Dose from parent, 6) Administer insulin 7) Clean up, disposal of sharps, blood, 8) As needed additional assistance.

Approx 260 students have medications at Medication Training school sites.
