ORIGIN

COMPOSITION

100% Pinot Noir Alsatian Pinot Noir is distinctive and very different than Pinot Noir grown in Burgundy. It is characterized as very dry and light bodied, with soft tannins and a bright acidity. Usually unoaked, Alsatian Pinot Noir is a fruit-driven wine that is typically served cooler than other reds.

VITICULTURE & VINIFICATION

Grapes were sourced from the heart of the Grand Cru area of Alsace, in the village of Hunawihr and its close surroundings. Vineyards are situated on south-facing hills dominated by limestone and argyle. Macerated 6 days on the skins in advanced Rieger tanks. Fermentation took place at 22-24°C with a 12 hour peek at 35°C in thermo regulated steel tanks. Unwooded – vinified entirely in stainless steel tanks.
