					New Supplier Opportunity
The AutoZone Tradition
CUSTOMER SERVICE, COMPETITIVE PRICES, and QUALITY PARTS have made AutoZone the leading retailer in the automotive aftermarket. We were founded on these principles, and they are reflected in our AutoZone cheer and pledge, “AutoZoners always put customers first … and, we have the best merchandise at the right price”. Furthermore, AutoZone practices a principle known as WITTDTJR® (wit-ah-jer), What It Takes To Do The Job Right. This means having the right products and knowledge to do the complete job, and presenting them to our customers. In an effort to meet customers’ expectations of quality, AutoZone has implemented a Supplier Certification Program. The program is modeled after QS9000/ISO9000 quality systems requirements but includes many AutoZone-specific requirements.

If you have product(s) that fits within automotive aftermarket categories, or non-traditional products outside of traditional automotive that might be new and exciting for our customers, please follow the proposal instructions on the next page. If you are unable to meet AutoZone’ requirements due to being a small and/or start-up company, don’t be discouraged from sending in your company information; we may be able to introduce your company to current AutoZone suppliers with whom you may be able to partner.

We appreciate your interest, and thank you for allowing us to review your products and company. We will contact you within 60 days of receiving your proposal. Pursuant to AutoZone’s Privacy Policy, AutoZone will not share or sell any responses to this questionnaire to third parties. See Privacy Policy Notwithstanding anything herein to the contrary, AutoZone shall be free to consult with and hire other companies to perform services, and create or provide products similar to those provided by Supplier. Further, Supplier understands that AutoZone may already be developing internally or receiving, or in the future may develop internally or receive from other parties, products or service that may be similar or identical to Supplier’s products or services. No discussions or disclosures of Supplier shall impair the rights of AutoZone to make, distribute, procure or provide for itself services or products now, or in the future which may be competitive with any Supplier product or service of any kind or type AutoZone shall not in any way be obligated to acquire or license any technology, information, products or services from Supplier by virtue of this Agreement

Proposal Instructions
To ensure proper processing of your proposal, please follow the steps below: 1) Download the New Supplier Opportunity document. 2) Complete the Supplier Questionnaire section and PRINT a copy to mail. 3) Gather the applicable information and materials: -Business Cards -Product Catalog -Samples -Photos or Videos (if product is too large to mail) 4) Send the completed Questionnaire (PRINTED COPY) and the other items, in one package, to the following address: Supplier Proposal, Dept. 9009 AutoZone, Inc. 123 South Front Street Memphis, TN 38103 NOTE: Please send your information with a delivery "Return Receipt" through your carrier if you need delivery confirmation. Samples and other materials become the property of AutoZone and will not be returned.
