									Tourism South East’s Rural Welcome programme in Kent Venue Details
Upon confirmation of your attendance, you will be sent full details of the times, venues, locations and, if required, maps. Following is a list of the venues with access and car parking information. Attendees interested in car-sharing should let Sarah Loftus at the Kent Downs AONB Unit know on 01303 815 174 or email sarah.loftus@kentdowns.org.uk so that this can be co-ordinated.
 Rippledown Environmental Centre Dover Road Ringwould, Dover CT14 8HE Located on the main Dover – Deal road (A258) on the edge of village of Ringwould. It is approx 100 yards down from the village hall, on the opposite side of the road, and is well sign posted.  Car park in front of the main house.  The nearest train stations are Dover and Walmer. If taking the train, please inform Sarah Loftus at the Kent Downs AONB Unit so that a lift can be arranged.  Located in the town centre.  The railway station (Dover/Canterbury/Ramsgate/ Victoria lines) is less than a 10 minute walk away.  The town is well served by the bus network.  According to www.faversham.org (which provides excellent information on the town as well as a map), the long term car parks are: Car Park Location Spaces Max Time Ospringe Street 20 Anytime Front Brents 12 Anytime Partridge Lane 55 12 hours Queen's Hall, Forbes Road 140 12 hours Station Car Park, Preston Lane 150+  Located on the A227 Borough Green to Tonbridge road.  There is car parking available opposite the pub.  Ightham is served by the Arriva 222 Bus service which runs from Vigo to Tonbridge, calling at the pub.  Ightam’s community website www.ightham.org/transport.htm provides useful information.  Wingham is on the A257, approx half way between Canterbury/Littlebourne and Ash/Sandwich.  The turning into School Lane is opposite the large Norman church.  The hall has a large car park which should be sufficient for the event. Alternative parking can easily be found in the village.  Wingham is on the Canterbury – Deal bus route, bus number 14.  The nearest train station is Adisham (on the Dover/Canterbury/Victoria line). If taking the train, let Sarah Loftus at the Kent Downs AONB Unit know so that a lift can be arranged.  A 10 minute drive from Canterbury City Centre and from the A2  Iffin has plenty of car parking space  The nearest train station is Canterbury East.
