Information & Certifications Travels to Denver often. I am a Barrel horse trainer. I can give barrel racing lessons as well. I'm a recent CSU Equine Sciences Grad and have experience with everyting from polo to hunter jumpers to AQHA performance horses but I specialize in Western disciplines, Hunter Under Saddle, Halter, starting horses and equine marketing. I am currently a Level III Parelli student and studying to become an instructor. I have taken many horses to Level II in Parelli and assisted many horse-owners and their horses to level II also. I work with people and teach them how to become a partner with their horse. I have over 30 years experience and have done everything from run professional rodeos to western pleasure and halter. I now find a new spin on things and apply natural horsemanship to all aspects of horse training and partnership. References available on request. I train Western/English for show and pleasure, trail, trailering, starting and finishing horses. I have been a trainer and riding instructor in Elizabeth for 20 years. I specialize in helping the rider and horse together. When I train, I encourage the owner to be as involved as possible. I train English and Western pleasure or show. I can start your horse the right way. Works out of Legacy Stables NARHA Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor based in Fort Collins, CO who works for Front Range Exceptional Equestrians (www.ridewithfree.org). I will have graduated with an Equine Sciences Degree from Colorado State University in the Spring 09. I am NARHA (North American Riding for the Handicapped Association) Registered Level Certified Instructor with current First Aid/CPR training. 25+ years in the horse industry specializing in Peruvian horses and Performance/ Exhibition presentations to show equine versitility. Performed at Evening of Dancing Horses by invitation of Michael Martin Murphey in 2003 Performed at Boulder Horse Ballet, Boulder, CO 2003-2008 scheduled for 2009 & other locations and venues. I have 30+ years experience with horses. I have shown horses in Reining, Hunter Under Saddle, Halter as well as a little bit of Western Pleasure. My main focus now is in rehabilitating problem horses while teaching their owners how to achieve the balance between getting their horses respect and having a good safe working relationship with them. I have a small facility here in Lakewood or I can come to your place. If I can be of help to you I would love to have the opportunity to work with you and your horse. I do have references.

I break and start colts, I will also finish head and heel horses. I can start reiners and cutting horses. My wife can start barrel horse and western pleasure horses.

I have been been in the horse industry for 27 years with my main focus in western pleasure, reining, trail and pleasure. I specialize in youth lessons and private lessons. I am a certified farrier with 18 years experience 12 that have been certified. I specialize in corrective foot placement and angle re-alignment. My specialty is working with horses that other trainers or owners have given up on. Behavior problems (pawing, biting, pulling back, rearing, won't stand still, etc.), trailer loading issues, starting young horses. I don't really do a particular discipline, but more educating the owner on why he does what he does. I also do training to get horses to get in sync with their owner, as if they are reading each others mind. Some of this training can be fun trick type training (do what I do) crossing legs, fetch, 3 legged pivot, shake head yes or no. I also like to do hauteecole training (ie) spanish walk, piaffe, half pass, shoulder-in, counter-bend, lead changes. I specialize in training ranch raised horses. We breed, train, board, and sell Horses. I have a asst. degree in Equine Mgt from NJC in Sterling Co. I have been starting colts since I was about 11 or 12. I rodeoed through highschool and college and still travel as much as possible with 2 little girls it is not easy to be gone very often. We mostly start colts and sell and train rope horses. I work with all level of riders, from very beginer and up. We pride ourselves on our horsemanship and the horses we train or sell. We do this for a living and plan on doing it for ever so honesty is what we have.
