This form collects the data required from school districts with Carl Perkins Career & Technical Education grant funds. After electronic submission to EED, this data will be entered into a web-based, aggregated report to display your district's data for the required Core Indicators Performance Targets (aka DARTS).

M - CTE Career Cluster - Identify ONE of 16 federally defined Career Clusters for course.

Please note the new Alpha order
N - Tech Prep 1 - Mark with a 1 if the student achieved the Postsecondary Institution’s adequate proficiency level to qualify to receive Tech Prep Credit from articulated Postsecondary Institution. Includes credits held “in escrow”, to be retrieved once a student has met additional criteria, e.g. enrolled in PS institution. O - Tech Prep 2 - Mark with a 1 if the student actually received Tech Prep Credit from articulated Postsecondary Institution during this reporting year (i.e. concurrent credit), this student's postsecondary credit will appear on their postsecondary transcript during the reporting year. Example: There are 30 students in your articulated Construction Trades class. All 30 students met the district's minimum requirements and have passed the district class - all are reported on the next worksheet of the AIO with the district course number (column K) and the number of high school credit (s) in column L. 16 of the 30 students achieved the Postsecondary Course’s adequate level of proficiency, they have a 1 in the Tech Prep 1 column. 10 of those 16 also registered for UA credit and paid their fees; those 10 would also have a 1 in the Tech Prep 2 column. The other 6 proficient students who did not enroll for postsecondary credit are identified with a zero in column ( Note: The 14 students who did not meet post-secondary proficiency standards but earned HS credit, should still be shown in column L, and a zero would be recorded in both Tech Prep columns N and O.) P - Concentrator - Mark 1 if the student: (a) has earned two (2) credits in an EED approved CTE sequence or CTEPS; (b) student has documented proficiencies that are equivalent to this criteria (c) earned 1.5 credits in a District that has an EED approved waiver for 1.5 credit CTE sequence or CTEPS; or (districts may apply for this waiver in their annual Perkins application) Q - Technical Skill Assessment Code - EED assigned code on the List of Tech Assmnts. Worksheet R - Technical Skill Assessment Attempted - Mark with a 1 if the student took or attempted the assessment named in column Q. S - Technical Skill Assessment Earned - Mark with a 1 if the student passed or successfully completed the assessment named in Column Q. T - Area of Interest - District optional designated record to use to report student interest
