Consideration should be given to adding a section on safety to C57.93 for topics that include: (CSE) Confined Space Entry , Spill Containment Kits, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), Lock Out -Tag Out Procedures (LOTO), Protection from Voltage Hazard, and Protection from Arc FlashHazard.

C57.93 only states Kelvin Bridge, whereas IEEE 62 also includes micro-ohmmeter for <1ohm and Wheatstone bridge >1ohm. C57.93 states ratio on each tap (DETC); if LTC - on all load tap positions - it is unclear but could be construed as all combinations of DETC and LTC; IEEE 62 is clearer - it states it load taps present - with DETC in one position such as nominal or maximum turns position on all LTC tap positions, and on other DETC positions with LTC at neutral. C57.93 states at reduced test voltage, whereas IEEE 62 states at the highest possible test voltage without exceeding the voltage rating of the excited winding.
