Speakers Bureau is designed to be a year-round program geared towards providing companies access to community leaders who will inform, engage, and motivate audiences to volunteer and donate to United Way. Through a consistent message, compelling stories and images, community partners participating in the Speakers Bureau help audiences connect to United Way and inspire them to contribute.

UNITED WAY OF SOUTHEASTERN PENNSYLVANIA SPEAKERS BUREAU GUIDELINES
1. Request forms for speakers and tours must include complete and accurate information. If information does not pertain to your request, please write N/A. Incomplete forms will be returned to the requestor via the United Way representative. Speaker requests must be submitted to the Speakers Bureau at least two weeks in advance. Agency Tour and Fair requests should be submitted at least four weeks in advance. Earlier completion of request forms generally guarantees the agency of your choice when requested. Last minute requests will be filled to the best of our ability. United Way cannot guarantee the first choice agency for last minute requests. If the request is for a non-Speakers Bureau affiliated agency, requestor must contact the agency directly. United Way will not be able to coordinate these requests. United Way Speakers Bureau coordinator(s) are not involved after your confirmation form has been sent. Companies should contact their agency after receiving the confirmation. (It is not the speaker’s responsibility to contact the company holding the event.) The Speakers Bureau coordinator(s) are available to help if any problems arise (e.g. speaker not returning company’s calls, speaker declines after confirmation, company cancels event, etc). Questions or concerns please contact Sienna Green @ 215-665-2610, sgreen@uwsepa.org
