The following people are publically declaring they are followers of Christ by being baptized in our services this weekend: Art Conrad, 46, Danbury:
“The Lord has shown me a way to a better life…He has shown me that I never walk alone.” “I have been wanting to (be baptized) for a while to show people I believe in Christ and want to live a life like Him.” “I know He is always there with me wherever I go.” “I desire to serve Jesus and to deepen by faith and understanding of Christianity. I completely surrender my life to the Lord.” “My hope is to be brave enough to be able to tell people about Jesus who don’t know Him.” “Jesus has made himself real to me through my wife, children, my music and work. The last six months, Jesus and the Holy Spirit have revealed themselves through Men’s Ministry, Men’s Retreat and through playing guitar for the worship teams.”

Sarah Wade, 32, Bethel:

Praises and Prayers Praise God…

Our monthly “refresh” gathering takes place tonight (Sunday, November 2) at 6:00 p.m. in the Worship Center. As we announced last week, the primary focus will be to minister to those who are being deeply affected by the current economic crisis. Beginning this month, we’re introducing a special time of teaching that will take place on each “refresh” Sunday from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. The topics will differ each month, but will mostly relate to how you can get the most out of experiencing “refresh.” This week, the seminar will be on how to minister to those suffering in this economic climate. A time of “pre-refresh prayer” will begin during the seminar, at about 5:00 p.m. Anyone is welcomed to join at any time, in the Guest Room.
