Our Technical department currently has a vacancy for a Telecom Project Manager This is a permanent, full-time position with the salary for this position being dependent on qualifications and experience. Main duties and tasks Manage the technical relationship with clients To document in detail the project's technical requirements and Customer acceptance criteria To identify and agree tasks, objectives and targets To agree, document and manage changes to customer requirements To deliver project updates to the customer and other members of the project team To oversee use acceptance testing and customer signoff prior to launch Project delivery To establish and update project plans To estimate the time needed for each task and the overall project To adjust the estimated time schedules and project deliverables according to agreed change requests To coordinate the work of each person involved in a project To act as a central interface for everyone within G&D involved in the project, dealing with queries, change requests, updates etc. To communicate status updates with customers, project team and Technical Director To ensure smooth and timely realisation of projects To oversee the preparation of sign-off samples for test cards and fulfilment packs To oversee project implementation To perform technical testing Skills & Experience Technical Skills Experience of Project Management processes – Prince II methodology or equivalent Commercial awareness Ability to plan, design and conduct presentations to small or large audiences Knowledge of and previous working experience in Telecom sectors Very good understanding of international standards in telecommunications and specifications for Smart Cards e.g. : ETSI (GSM 11.11, 11.14 etc..), 3GPP, ISO 7816, TS 23. 048 -> OTA/RFM security, TS 31.101 -> UICC, TS 31.102 -> USIM, TS 31.111 -> USAT, TS 31.130 -> USIM API for Java Card, NFC/RFID, DUAL Interface (Contact and Contactless card interface), High Speed Protocols -> USB / MMC, Java Card 2.2 Very good knowledge of GSM/UMTS networks and Architecture. Very good knowledge of cryptography (PKI) and communication protocols Experience in creating SIM & USIM-card profiles Experience in the use of relevant tools (e.g. GSM Profiler, USIM Master, USIM Manager, USIM Browser) Very good understanding of how to create and test SIM/USIM card applications IT system and encryption knowledge and experience Expertise in software programmes such as PowerPoint, Microsoft Projects, Word and Excel, etc. Experience in solution design General This job description outlines the current main responsibilities for this post, however these may change and develop over time.
