									WHAT OUR CLUB HAS TO OFFER YOU THE MEMBER This is to remind all members that this is your Club and you should be encouraging yourself to use the Club by you and your family and friends. We the Club Committee along with the Branch trustees have changed a few things and are still trying out new projects and carrying out refurbishments when we can. Please take time to read this small resume of what we think the Club should be like, but if we have things wrong then come and tell us what you the members want to see happening. The Royal British Legion Scotland Arbroath Branch Club is a family club and membership is open to everybody. Did you know that you do not need to be ‘ex military’ to become a member? We are primarily a SOCIAL CLUB with all that entails and, as a member, you, your family and friends are always sure of a warm welcome. The club offers the town a variety of different things including  A meeting place for all ages  Competitive prices on drinks  Pool, Darts, Bowls (Indoor & Green), Cribbage and Dominoes teams  Women's Section (Membership) meets every month  Membership for the Branch/Club is £9 (OAP £7) for the year. This includes entry for you, and you can sign in your partner, a member of your family or friends (Up to 3 people) to use all club facilities.  We welcome anybody to join our Associate or Family membership (£10) (OAP £7.50) for nonservice members - young or old. Please contact the club address or by email  Gambling – We provide the opportunity to use fruit machines, play Bingo (Sundays) and purchase machine lotto cards  We have full disabled access including disabled toilet facilities Benefits of Legion Membership  Social and sporting activities at local branches and clubs, nationwide (Scotland), year round  Access to a wide range of legion exclusive services and discount schemes  Free subscription to Legion magazine (6 issues a year)  The opportunity to become involved in the Poppy Appeal and Remembrance activities  The opportunity to get actively involved in the local community as a Welfare caseworker, looking after the needs for ex-Service men and women and their dependants  The opportunity to get involved in ceremonial activities and train as a Standard Bearer The Club Should Be

Function Room Hire Our Function Rooms & Lodge-rooms are an ideal venue for Corporate Functions, Training, Conferencing and Sales and Marketing Events. Refreshments and food can be organised on request. We can also cater for all forms of receptions and parties such as engagements, birthdays, wedding receptions, retirements, funeral teas, Christmas parties etc. Other Activities within the Club Big Screen TV in Sports bar every day Bingo on most Sundays Line Dancing Every second Tuesday evenings, every Wednesday evenings, every Friday afternoons Ballroom Dancing Wednesday evenings Darts available every day plus team events and fixtures (see board for details) Pool available at all times plus team events and fixtures (see board for details) Veterans Night in November, at present 60 yrs and over Bully Beef Night in March, all ticket night Disco/ Karaoke evenings "Strut your Stuff" some Fridays as organised (see board for details) Horseracing nights/Casino nights as organised (see board for details) Quiz nights when organised Ladies Section – there is also an active Ladies Section of The Royal British Legion Scotland OAP’s Xmas Parties - 65 yrs and over – small donation for bringing along their non member partner Children’s Xmas Party for member’s children
