Congratulations on Your Engagement!
The Château Élan Catering and Culinary team thank you for considering us to host your destination wedding! We know you have a lot to think about in planning your wedding like things that reflect your taste as a couple, your distinctive style and budget. Château Élan has a unique sense of place, staffed by experienced professionals that set us apart in our guest service standards and attention to detail. It is our desire to ensure all the elements leading up to the event, and the day itself run absolutely flawless. On 3,500 acres of natural beauty, Château Élan resides within the sweeping panorama of the north Georgia foothills, just 40 minutes north of Atlanta we are a world away from the worries within the hustle and bustle of the city. Here, French provincial and southern hospitality combine to produce an ideal setting for a perfect wedding. The lush vineyards and 16th century style French Château that is the centerpiece of the resort look like something you’d see in the Loire Valley of France or Napa Valley in California.

WEDDING COORDINATION
Your Catering Manager can provide you with a list of our suggested vendors for you to choose from. After you have made your plans, your Catering Manager will assist in coordinating the details of the day with your selected vendors, including rehearsal and full day-of ceremony coordination.

MINIMUMS & PROVISIONS
A food and beverage minimum amount is determined for each wedding, and varies depending on the number of guests, location and date. The food and beverage minimum does not include taxes, service fees, facility fees, décor or other unrelated items. The food and beverage minimum should not be considered an estimate of the costs for the wedding, as this will vary considerably depending on the specific details of your event. Château Élan Winery & Resort must provide all food and beverage for your wedding with the exception of your cake.

MENU TASTINGS
The bride and groom of weddings of 100 or more guests will have the opportunity to experience their wedding menus at a tasting in advance of the wedding date. Smaller weddings can arrange a menu tasting at a discounted rate. Please contact your Catering Manager if you would like to schedule a tasting.

GUARANTEES/ SERVICE CHARGE
The final guaranteed number of guests must be received by 10:00am one week prior to your event. This guarantee may not be reduced after this time. Your charges will be based on the guaranteed number, or the actual attendance, whichever is greater. A twenty-two (22%) percent taxable service charge and applicable State tax (currently 7%) will be added to all food and beverage charges.

BAR & BEVERAGE
4-Hour Deluxe Open bar is offered during your event. Our Deluxe Open Bar includes award-winning selections of Chateau Élan red and white wines. We provide one bartender for every 75 adult guests. Bartender fees are included in our menu packages.

DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT
To secure your date, a signed contract and a $2,000 non-refundable deposit is required. 50% of the estimated bill is due three months prior to event date and a full estimated payment of the event is due one week prior to your wedding. A personal check cannot be accepted for the final payment. A credit card authorization form must be completed, prior to the event, for any additional charges.

SUITE/ GUEST ROOM RESERVATION
A complimentary suite is provided for the bride and groom for weddings of 100 guests or more on the night of your wedding. Should you require rooms for your out of town guests, a number of rooms at a reduced rate can be reserved under the name of your wedding.

CHILDREN/YOUNG ADULT PRICING
Young Adults (11-20 years old) is the same menu as adults without the alcohol portion. There is a child friendly meal (4-10 years old). Pricing varies by menu.

The Cask Room ~ What could be more alluring than a wedding event staged in our Cask Room. Situated in the cool recesses of the Château Élan Winery, where your senses are stirred by the rich scent of oaken wine barrels, displays of vintage wine bottles, and lighting configured to set the mood, the Cask Room, is conducive to planning the most imaginative of evenings, including black tie. Accommodates up to 80 guests. Champs Elysee ~ Located in the Inn at Château Élan, Champs Elysee, is a well-appointed event venue offering a small foyer perfect for entertaining your guests with double doors opening up to the a room with a long, elegant estate table ready to serve your guests an exquisite meal or dine off of the Versailles a la carte at multiple round tables. Accommodates up to 16 guests with an estate table and 30 with Round tables of 10 Pool Entertainment Deck ~ Located next to the Outdoor Pool at the Inn at Château Élan the Pool Entertainment Deck is the perfect setting for your relaxed themed dinner event like a Low Country Boil or a Southern Barbecue Dinner. Your guests can unwind with one of our specialty drinks that can be served at your event bar. Accommodates up to 100 guests. Château Élan’s Restaurants ~ Guests at Château Élan have a choice of seven restaurants and lounges to discover a cultural array of dishes and ingredients from regional Southern, and All-American to Mediterranean and Classic French. The ambiance and settings range from casual and resort casual to intimate fine dining. Some of the most popular are… Café Élan, located inside the Winery across from the Wine Market has a cosmopolitan ambience evoking images of those cozy provincial restaurants scattered through Europe. Seats up to 40 per seating. Versailles is located at the heart of the Inn at Château Élan. This open air restaurant is under a 45 foot glass Atrium and conjures up images of the former Quai d’Orsay railway station and Belle Époque dining room of the hotel that fronted the actual station, a Parisian landmark from 19001939. Evenings, Versailles is transformed into a turn of the 20th century Parisian restaurant, featuring metropolitan and contemporary international cuisine served a la carte. Friday and Saturday evenings a dinner buffet is also available. Can accommodate up to 80 guests per seating. Fleur-de-Lis is a lovely, picturesque, dining room overlooking the lake and gazebo at the Spa Mansion at Château Élan. Here, our chef beautifully prepares gourmet dishes served using the choicest of healthy ingredients. Seats up to 30 guests for private events. Clubhouse Grille is conveniently located at the Château and Woodlands courses right inside the Chateau Élan Golf Club. A combination of a great view of green the Clubhouse also maintains a stocked bar, big screen TV, and great southern personal service. Seat up to 75 guests for private events. Le Clos, located in the Winery is an intimate fine dining room. Le Clos’ visual allure only gets better when you walk through the door. The subtle lighting, the Tuscany rust hued wall coverings, the gentle water falls streaming from mosaic wall sculptures, and the pillar in the center of the room, artfully disguised into a beautiful fountain evokes images of a Mediterranean courtyard café. Le Clos offers a pre fixe menu of five courses with the option to include Chateau Élan’s finest estate bottled wines or other choices from an extensive wine list. Le Clos seats up to 40 guests for private events.

WHAT TO DO WHILE YOU’RE HERE… BRIDAL LUNCHEONS ~ HIGH TEAS ~ SUNDAY BRUNCH ~ SPARTY!
Bridal Luncheons and High Teas are accentuated at the elegant Le Clos located in the Winery. Sunday Brunch is available in Versailles Restaurant from noon until 2:00pm. A Sparty is the perfect combination of relaxing spa services and a gathering of friends or family! Ask your Catering Manager for further details.

THE CULINARY STUDIO FEATURING VIKING ®
The Culinary Studio is a beautiful 1,600 sq. ft. teaching kitchen furnished with top tier Viking Range® appliances. Lead by Executive Chef Marc Suennemann, Château Élan’s international team of chefs will bring their individual and cultural specialties to the kitchen as they educate guests through cooking demonstrations and hands-on cooking classes which can be followed an intimate dinner featuring the same items that were prepared by our chefs. Accommodates up to 30 guests. Ask your Catering Manager for further details on private classes and demos.

CUSTOM WINE LABELS
For over 20 years, Château Élan has been creating custom wine labels for guests and visitors who seek an elegant, distinctive way to celebrate and mark a special event. Our professionally designed custom labeled wine from Georgia’s premier winery is a perfectly delicious memento sure to last a lifetime. Ask your Catering Manager for further details.

CHAMPIONSHIP GOLF
Château Élan is passionate about golf, so it’s no wonder that our two public 18-hole championship Château and Woodlands courses are considered among the finest in Georgia. The Par 3, 9-hole Executive walking course adjacent to the Inn, is ideal for a fresh air break. The Legends is a private club that gracefully winds through the heart of Château Élan. Ask your Catering Manager for further details on booking tee times and shotgun tournaments.

L’Auberge Lounge, overlooks the Atrium at the Inn, and serves a range of light snacks and dinner item. From mouth watering delights such as traditional Chicken Wings to dinner entrees like Filet Mignon. L'Auberge has a relaxed sports bar atmosphere with large Flat screen televisions, and pool tables. The lounge features live Jazz and Blues Friday and Saturday nights. Ask your Catering Manager about coordinating a Poker tables or Nintendo Wii tournaments…Team Bride vs. Team Groom! Paddy’s Irish Pub was officially commissioned in Dublin in 1997 by Château Élan founders, Dr. Donald and Nancy Panoz. Completely authentic, all of Paddy’s furnishings and fixtures were created in Ireland. The pub was then shipped to Château Élan in Braselton, Georgia, reassembled here, and opened in July of 1997. Paddy’s is a spirited pub serving up traditional Irish food, beverage, and live Irish music on Friday and Saturday evenings.
