4. A more flexible loan You choose how long you need to repay the loan. For a Personal or Car Loan, you can spread your repayments up to a maximum of 5 years for loans less than 12,000 or up to a maximum of 7 years for loans greater than 12,000. You can borrow up to 10 years for a Home Improvement Loan. 5. No additional fees if the loan is paid off early We’re here to offer you financial assistance when you need it. If you find your position changes and you want to pay off your loan early, that’s great. We won’t penalise you for being prudent! 6. More peace of mind If you feel you’d like extra reassurance that your repayments could be covered even if you can’t work, we can give you the option of Personal Loan Protector (PLP) insurance. Please note that this option is only available on loan terms up to a maximum of 5 years (please refer to policy terms for restrictions, benefits and exclusions)*. Credit Reference and Fraud Prevention Agencies
10. We may make periodic searches of, and provide information to (including how you manage your account and any arrears), credit reference agencies, fraud prevention agencies and the Group to manage and take decisions about your account. Such information may be used by other credit providers to make decisions about you. 11. We can provide the names and addresses of the agencies we use if you would like a copy of your information held by them. Please contact us at 01 6084000. The agencies may charge a fee. In order to protect existing and new customers from the risk of fraud and to minimise the instances of money laundering, there is a legal requirement to verify identity and address for all new accounts that are opened. This includes original documentary proof of your identity, e.g. current valid full passport, full local driving licence and proof of your address, e.g. recent utility bill, bank or building society statements (originals). We also have a requirement to ensure our existing customers have similar documentation in place when opening an additional account with us. If you are unable to provide any of the above, please speak to member of staff who will be able to help.
