Dear Artist: You are invited to participate in the Anton Art Center’s 30th Annual Juried Christmas Market. This is a high sales / high traffic art fair. Christmas Market continues to enjoy growth and success. Please return registration form and your checks by Friday, September 12th. We look forward to your participation in the 2008 Christmas Market. Please note guidelines below.
NEW ENTRIES MUST BE JURIED
Mail three close-up slides/photos/CDs of artwork with registration form and two checks/money orders: $10 jury fee and $30 registration fee by Friday, September 12th. Enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope for the return of your images and jury results. Those who are not chosen will have their registration fee returned. Artists who currently have their work in the Gift Shop are not required to have their work juried and do not have to pay the $10 jury fee.
GUIDELINES and INFORMATION
1. All entries must be original hand-crafted work e.g. paintings, clay, wood, glass, textile, toys, etc. Limited edition, numbered, and signed prints are acceptable. Entries must be ready for display. 2. All work must be designed and executed by the accepted artist. 3. No kit work or commercial reproductions of any kind allowed. 4. Work done by a production studio is not acceptable. 5. New and innovative work and Christmas themed items are encouraged. 6. Shipped work must be received between October 28 – 31. Artist is responsible for shipping costs both to and from The Art Center. 7. COMMISSION: The Art Center retains 30% commission on all sales. 8. SALES TAX: The Art Center collects, reports and pays all sales tax. 9. CHECKS/MONEY ORDERS: Please make payable to The Art Center. Entries not accompanied by fee(s) are ineligible and will not receive consideration for the Christmas Market. Mail to: Anton Art Center Christmas Market 2008 125 Macomb Place Mt Clemens, MI 48043 10. INVENTORY: Accepted artists will receive forms in September with instructions and schedule. 11. PROMOTION: Christmas Market fliers will be available for artists to distribute.

Late pick up fee is $10. Artwork not picked up by January 10, 2009 will become property of The Art Center.
Artist Agreement: I agree that The Art Center shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to artwork or personal property of any kind. I release and hold harmless, The Art Center, its agents and employees of any liability that may arise by damage, loss, or theft while said work is presented in Christmas Market 2008. I understand that in the event my artwork does not conform to the above guidelines, I may lose my jury fee and my application fee.
