ISH China 2008 – China International Trade Fair for Heating and
Air-conditioning, 19 – 22 February, Shanghai New International

ISH China showcases leading products from the heating and
air-conditioning sectors
Seventh edition receives strong support from international
brands displaying energy saving and renewable energy
products
Exhibitors praise fair move from Beijing to Shanghai
ISH China 2008, the leading international trade fair in the Asian
region for the heating and air-conditioning sectors, is scheduled
from 19 – 22 February at the Shanghai New International Expo
Centre in Shanghai. Over 200 exhibitors from 14 countries and
regions have already confirmed their participation in this year’s
event. A number of international brands, will be showcasing their
latest and innovative technologies, among them A.O. Smith,
Danfoss, ebm-papst, E Burner, Ecoflam, Giacomini, Grundfos,
Ferroli, Miura, Siemens, Viessmann, Weil-McLain, including a
German Pavilion, and an Italian Group.
The seventh edition of ISH China will display items that include
modern heating installations and equipment, and air-conditioning
and ventilation products with particular focus on energy saving and
renewable energies.

In addition to the main exhibition, there will be an opportunity to
network at the Sino European Congress on Modern Energy Saving
Equipment for HVAC Technology in Buildings. Recognised as the
most important event in the industry and jointly organised with the
Association of the European Heating Industry and China District
Heating Association, it plays an important role for Chinese-
European dialogue.
As well as collect valuable information at the “Living with Water,
Warmth and Air”: State-of-the-art housing and building design
showcase and forum. A perfect platform for suppliers to share their
know-how with designers, architects and real estate developers and
to understand more about the needs and requirements of residential
and commercial buildings in China. A number of other technical
seminars, product demonstrations, and company presentations will
also be offered for exhibitors and visitors to take part in.
Exhibitors praise fair move from Beijing to Shanghai
Shanghai, a rapidly expanding city, has one of the fastest growing
heating industries in China, with growth in consumption of heating
products & equipment averaging 15% per year since 2000. Situated
in the Yangtze River Delta area, exhibitors have praised the
decision to move ISH China from Beijing to Shanghai.
Ferroli believes that the retail heating market in the Yangtze River
Delta area is an emerging market; while the commercial heating
market also has significant potential, noted Marketing Director, Mr.
Peng Zhou for Far East Strategic, a representative of Ferroli. “With
the professional help of ISH China, we will be able to create
maximum exposure in this surging local market to reach the most
success.”

Viessmann has been a quality leader in the heating industry for the
last 90 years. “With our comprehensive range of products for
different energy sources, including renewable energies as well as
gas and oil, with applications in the residential, commercial and
industrial sector, we are ready for the future,” explained, General
Manager, Dr. Hansueli Bruderer for Viessmann Heating

Technology. “Displaying our products in exhibitions like ISH China
has been a very successful part of our marketing activities in the
region for the past ten years,” said, Dr. Bruderer.
