Conference Announcement
Unpacking Teaching and Learning through Educational Research
The Educational Research Association of Singapore (ERAS) will host the ERAS Conference 2009 to be held in Singapore on the 19th and 20 th November 2009. This conference will see the gathering of researchers from renowned educational research associations worldwide to discuss important issues of teaching and learning through sound research approaches – including diversity in curriculum development and practices, new pedagogies, enhancing learning through assessment, leading change for tomorrow’s learners, learning & innovation and new directions in educational research. We believe this will be an excellent platform to learn, engage and develop new ideas to bring about quality in educational research, policy and practice from fellow educators and researchers in Singapore as well as from the Asia and Pacific regions.

Guidelines on Submission of Abstracts
PROPOSAL GUIDELINES In addition to plenary sessions where keynote speakers will address the whole assembly, concurrent sessions will be organized in the following format: Paper Sessions (1.5 hours) 3 paper presentations per session - 30 minutes per paper inclusive of questions and answers. Guidelines on Submission of Abstract For each paper presentation the Conference Presenter is required to submit an abstract of not more than 200 words together with a completed Proposal Form with three keywords to the Conference Secretariat via email or hard copy by 31st August 2009. Submission of full papers is optional. Submitted full papers will be included in the conference proceedings. Presenters can bring along 15-20 copies of their paper to be distributed during the paper presentation.
