Solang is a kaleidoscopically colorful hamlet 13 kms beyond Manali, H.P. During the winter, the land looks like an island of snow, hence making it renowned for practicing skiing, skiing festivals and umpteen number of competitions. Best Season: January to March Grade: Soft

Cost Includes: • Complete lodging and boarding at a hotel on twin sharing basis • All necessary skiing equipment and instruction charges as per itinerary. • Transfer from Manali to Solang & back in small vehicles Cost Excludes: • 3.09% Govt. Service Tax on tour cost • Travel expense to Mumbai to New Delhi & back • Food expenses during travel from New Delhi to Manali & back • Ski Lift Charges • Any kind of insurance, such as accident, theft, medical, evacuation etc. • Any extra costs incurred due extension / change of the itinerary due to natural calamities, train / bus / flight delays, roadblocks, vehicle breakdown etc. factors beyond the control of “Countryside Outdoor Programmes Pvt. Ltd.” and its associates. • Expenses of personal nature like laundry, alcohol, etc. • Cost of transportation to Gulaba / Marrhi if required • Countryside can make travel and accommodation arrangements in New Delhi at extra cost. • Any item not mentioned in ‘Cost Includes’. Note: • Skiing would be subject to the snow conditions. Each programme is subject to change, due to uncertainties in weather, road conditions and public transport facilities. Our effort will be to continue with the tour as per the schedule & make you as comfortable as possible. But in such situations we may have to compromise on the campsite / hotels & adjust to these situations then & there • Be prepared to live in sub-zero temperatures! During late March & April, if the snow conditions do not remain good for skiing, we do skiing at Gulaba, at an extra cost for transportation. • The ski lift will be available at extra cost. (Approximately Rs. 500/- per person / per day) • Person undertaking skiing holidays should be reasonably physically fit. • New Delhi accommodation and transfers, if required, can be organized at an extra cost. GENERAL INFORMATION: ACCOMMODATION: • Solang: The hotel in Solang is a small cozy one. Rooms have attached toilet & bath facilities with running hot water for a limited period of time. It commands excellent views of the Mt. Friendship range. • The stay is on either twin or triple sharing as desired, but in twin bedded rooms. In case of triple sharing we have an extra mattress put up in the rooms. TRAVEL: AIR & RAIL TRAVEL: Usually the fare, for International / Domestic flights and rail are excludes in our tour cost. ‘Countryside’ can make these travel arrangements at actual cost plus a nominal service charge of Rs.200.00 per person per sector for air bookings & Rs.100 for rail bookings per person per booking. LAND ARRANGEMENT: New Delhi - Manali & back: 2 X 2 AC Semi Sleeper Volvo Coach (Operated by HP Tourism or similar). ‘Countryside’ can make these travel arrangements at actual cost plus a nominal service charge of Rs.100 per person per sector.

EQUIPMENT: All ski equipment including skis, ski sticks, boots, etc will be provided by ‘Countryside’. AVERAGE TEMPERATURE: The temperatures during the day are 12º to 15º Celsius between the months January to March. Average night temperatures expected are sub zero. MEDICAL & FIRST AID: This tour takes us through remote region where professional medical help may not be available. We advise you to carry a comprehensive medical first-aid kit advised by a doctor. It would be advisable to speak to our local representative in case of any health problems that you may face on the tour. INSURANCE: Any kind of insurance on luggage, accident, life or other allied matters is not provided for by “COUNTRYSIDE OUTDOOR PROGRAMMES Pvt. Ltd.” Members coming on our trips will have to make their own arrangements for the same. BOOKING: The tour booking will be confirmed only upon receipt of: Non Refundable amount of 20% of tour cost, in addition to the charges such as air, rail fares, etc along with completed personal information form. • 50% of the tour cost to be paid 45 days before date of departure & • Balance 30% of the tour cost to be paid 15 days prior to the departure. (The trip will be considered confirm only if there is no default in the above payment procedure.) • Please enquire for any special discounts & offers. CANCELLATION BY YOU: In the event of any cancellation by you, the initial deposit amount paid, shall stand forfeited and further cancellation shall be levied as per the following terms: • 46 days before date of departure: 20% of tour cost + Air / Rail cancellation charges • 45 to 31 days before date of departure: 50% of tour cost + Air / Rail cancellation charges • 30 to 15 days before date of departure: 80% of tour cost + Air / Rail cancellation charges • 15 to 0 days before date of departure: 100% of tour cost + Air / Rail cancellation charges (Will be considered as no show) CANCELLATION BY ‘COUNTRYSIDE’ & REFUNDS • ‘Countryside’ reserves the right to refuse or cancel any booking if we consider it necessary. In such cases, we shall refund all the money that you have paid. • If cancellation or alteration by COUNTRYSIDE OUTDOOR PROGRAMMES PVT. LTD. is caused by events including war or threat of war, strikes, civil strife, natural disaster, technical or political difficulties affecting air or ground transport, or events amounting to force majeure, this will naturally limit our liability. If such events occur before the departure date, we will do our best to make alternative arrangements.
