the February 21 opening was awesomely orchestrated by docents from William Jessup university, moms and daughters from the national Charity League and Roseville Arts education Committee volunteers, as well as Dave Carter, artist designer for the horton hears a Who Pop-up book. tops on the list were Bob and Sandy Borschert, who custom designed fabulous Cat in the hat hats and and Green eggs and ham cookies! This week—joining the national celebration of Dr. Seuss’ 105th birthday—the Gallery welcomed the first of many school tours scheduled to visit the Art of Dr. Seuss. First grades from Cathryn Gates elementary School in Roseville shouted a gleeful “happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss!” as they wrapped up their tour with docents Gayle Streff, Shari Foresman and Dana Barrow.
