   INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUMMARY REPORT FOR FY2014 AMATEUR SPORTS MARKETING
                                PROJECTS

The project summary report is your opportunity to provide MDT with the outcomes of your FY2014
Cooperative Marketing project. As is the case for all expenditures of taxpayer dollars, it is necessary
for MDT to show benefit to the state of Missouri for all marketing activities. Future funding of this
program can depend upon the quality of information provided by program participants.

Completion of this form is mandatory for all FY2014 Amateur Sports marketing projects. Refer to the
approved application/contract as you complete this summary report. All responses must tie directly
to the information provided there.

Applications for funding will not be accepted from DMOs with outstanding or untimely
summary and measurement reporting from any fiscal year.

Total state dollars awarded: Enter the amount of state dollars approved for this project.

Local matching funds expended: Enter the total dollar amount of local matching funds expended
on this project.

Total state dollars reimbursed: Enter the total dollar amount reimbursed by Division of Tourism on
this project.

Other Amateur Sports marketing expenditures: Enter the total dollar amount of additional
Amateur Sports expenditures by the DMO that are not included elsewhere (independent of this co-
op project).

Total of all Amateur Sports marketing expenditures: Enter the total of the following: matching
funds expended, state dollars reimbursed and other Amateur Sports marketing expenditures.

your FY2014 Cooperative Marketing Amateur Sports marketing project? Include all marketing
activities that were included in the final approved cooperative marketing budget.

Item number 2 - Restate the specific Amateur Sports marketing objectives that were listed in your
approved FY2014 Cooperative Marketing Amateur Sports marketing application. Responses to this
question will come directly from the information provided in the approved application. (For example:
Increase overnight visitors by 5%)

the success of each objective.

Item number 4 – List the positive ways this Cooperative Marketing project impacted the Amateur
Sports marketing of this destination.

Item number 5 - Indicate the number of Amateur Sporting events booked during the FY2014 project
period and the resulting room nights generated, 7/1/2013 through 6/30/2014. Also, show the
resulting room nights generated and describe the growth in amateur sports during the same period.

Item number 6 - Provide the estimated economic impact of the Amateur Sports indicated as booked
in item 5 and detail the method of calculation. Plan to use the same method of calculation each year
or explain the need to change methodology.

Item number 7 - In what specific ways will the outcome of this project affect the planning of future
marketing projects? Address this question in the space provided.

Item number 8 - For use as comparison data, please provide the following information for the
FY2013 program year: Number of Amateur sporting booked and the Economic Impact of the
bookings. This information will provide the baseline date for FY2014 and future performance
measurements.
