Did you know that mature student status may be granted to applicants who are
over 19 years old and do not have a high school diploma or GED? It is intended
to allow applicants who have not completed high school the opportunity to be
considered for admission, based on the skills and experience they have
acquired since leaving school. Mature students are still required to complete
course prerequisites. Exact requirements may vary from college to college.
Many mature students opt for Continuing Education classes.

Attending this Toronto education option allows students to complete
diplomas or certificate in a range of areas. At Centennial College, students may
attend classes on campus, take online classes that allow them to learn from
anywhere they have Wi-Fi or opt for course materials to be physically mailed to
them through Print-Based Correspondence. The most popular option, and
therefore, the one with the widest range of offerings is part-time studies that
are facilitated at Centennial College's four locations. Here is a look at the range
of programs within this School of study.

Business: There are several categories of programs that students can attend
within this part-time option. For example, accounting, credit and finance
programs offer students skills such as computing proficiency and leadership
skills. They include Financial Planning, Investment Services and Public
Accounting Certificate. Meanwhile, human resources programs focus on
offering a full understanding of the relationships that take place in the
workplace and include Human Resource Management and Payroll Manager.

Art & Design, Languages: This group of programs is for anyone who wants to
enter an imaginative and inspired environment that requires creative thinking,
design and linguistic abilities. Students may attend programs or courses such
as Digital Publishing, Screenwriting for Film and Television and Web
Development – Design.

them are hospitality, which is one of the fastest growing industries today

teaching at a college level, and those who are experts in their field who want to
learn how to teach/share their expertise.

Transportation and Motorcycle: Teaching students out of the largest and best
transportation training site in the country, this area of study covers everything
from automotive to aircraft, from motorcycle to mechanics. There are also
courses for car, truck and motorcycle owners who want to understand,

motorcycle training courses.
