Handwriting Year 3&4 Class Y34 10

There was an old man There was an old man Had a face made of cake, He stuck it with currants And put it to bake. The oven was hot, He baked it too much, It came out covered With a crunchy crust. The eyes went pop, The currants went bang, And that was the end Of that old man. James Kirkup

Handwriting Year 5&6 Class Y56 7

The friendly cow all red and white, I love with all my heart: She gives me cream with all her might, To eat with apple-tart. She wanders lowing here and there, And yet she cannot stray, All in the pleasant open air, The pleasant light of day. And blown by all the winds that pass And wet with all the showers, She walks among the meadow grass And eats the meadow flowers. Robert Louis Stephenson
