Founded in 1903, Rabun Gap–Nacoochee School’s mission is dedicated to study, worship, and work. Rabun Gap is
an independent, co-educational, college preparatory school for students in grades 6 through 12. Fifty percent of the
students are boarding. International students comprise approximately twenty-five percent of the student body. Sixty-
seven percent of our students receive generous financial aid and/or scholarships to attend Rabun Gap. e school has
a selective admission process for students.

Ac adem ic Prog ra m
   e school’s academic program offers a rigorous, traditional liberal arts curriculum centered on critical thinking and
problem solving skills. Classroom instruction is complemented by extensive opportunities for experiential learning in
laboratories, studios for music, art, and dance, directed and independent research, and through a wide array of cultural
activities on and off campus.

Work Prog ra m
A Rabun Gap tradition since the school’s inception has been a campus-wide work program, where each student
contributes to the maintenance and improvement of campus buildings, grounds, and programs.
