2007 Las Vegas NBA All-Star Week - Youth Benefit Concert & Awards Gala
November 6, 2006 Dear Fellow Guardians of at Risk Youth:

Post Office Box 13902 Las Vegas, Nevada 89112 Phone: 803-686-1574 Fax: 702-435-0433 barlowproductions@msn.com

As a result of the recent 7.3 billion dollar philanthropic windfall that President Clinton orchestrated in just 3 days, the entire world was a witness to an epic demonstration of charitable success that proves that there is no limit to the giving if the cause is right. We now borrow a few pages from President Clinton’s fundraising book with a brand new initiative to raise the bar for youth charities. In this case, our mission is to create a whole new level of economic support for “Youth at Risk”, at home and abroad.
“There Is Simply No Greater Calling In Life For Man Or Woman Than To Answer The Call To Help Benefit Impoverished Youth.” “Not Only Do Our Youth Deserve To Be Rescued From Such Conditions, They Also Deserve To Enjoy A Life That Is Free From Poverty, Preventable Diseases, Homelessness, Starvation, And Domestic Abuse.” “Help Support This Initiative To Leverage All Of Our Most Powerful Human Resources Towards The Benefit Of All Disadvantaged Youth At Risk.”

In February of 2007, the 56th annual NBA All-Star game will convene in Las Vegas, Nevada, the Entertainment Capital of the World attracting the wealthiest individuals and corporations from around the world for a week of excess and overindulgence. This powerful gathering in Las Vegas represents a one time sobering opportunity to focus the world’s attention and philanthropy on our most precious resource; our youth. Similar to President Clinton’s Global Initiative, our goal is to attract the most influential and philanthropic minded individuals to attend our inaugural 2007 Urban Guardian Awards Dinner. This will be our model to help raise $100 million in charitable funds with 100% of the proceeds benefiting organizations serving “Youth at Risk”. To initiate and fully activate this new and worthy endeavor, a $2.5 million founding benefactor is needed to cover production, marketing, travel and administrative costs associated with the dinner and concert. Prestigious entitlements await the benefactor. I am truly blessed that for most of my life, I have been honored to be one of many supporters of our youth. I proudly support this new and innovative youth initiative presently being organized and humbly request your most dynamic support as well. Please review the attached sponsorship offer and accompanying “Urban Guardian Awards Dinner” confidential overview with a positive mind and philanthropic spirit. Also, please direct any questions to Ms. Ernestine Peters who is our very gifted and highly experienced event producer. Her resume of accomplishments is attached. Thank you in advance for your benevolent support. May God bless each and every one of you with his most powerful light; and remember, “It’s All About The Children.”

Attn: Corporate Sponsors, Advertisers and Philanthropists Re: 2007 Las Vegas NBA All-Star Week – Youth Benefit Concert & Awards Gala Dear Friends & Colleagues, Event founders and myself are producing the “NBA All-Star Week - Youth Benefit Concert & Awards Gala”. This first of it’s kind “NBA All-Star Week Fundraiser” will kick-off February 14, 2007, in Las Vegas with plans for our 2nd annual 2008 benefit, at the 57th NBA All-Star Game, in New Orleans, to include a National Broadcast Production.

Each year we will deliver a world-class “charitable event” to an otherwise weeklong celebration of excess overindulgence. We invite you to CO-found the inaugural 2007 Las Vegas “NBA All-Star Week - Youth Benefit Concert & Awards Gala” and net the corporate benefits of branding a media-savvy annual event that offers true substance. I have been privileged to produce 7 consecutive FOX televised “NAACP Image Awards” and have honored hundreds of the greatest men and women in the history of Sports, Entertainment, Politics & Philanthropy. I’ve learned that from Bill Clinton to Michael Jordan and Denzel Washington to Steven Spielberg and Oprah Winfrey to Garth Brooks, all have three things in common. They are enlightened spirits, with exceptional integrity who commit to historical projects simply because they believe the project is necessary. In the spirit of necessity and with a great sense of social responsibility, I humbly invite you to participate in a historical new chapter in “Joint Collaborative Partnerships”. This new vehicle is designed to address the dilemma of urban “Youth at Risk” yet is also a very high-profile platform that will fulfill your loftiest corporate charitable goals. This project will compliment any corporate mission that is designed to positively impact society. Simply put, when youth succumb to peer pressure it leads to alcohol, drugs and crime. They finally drop out of school and surrender to negative influence. Some join gangs and get sucked into a dangerous underclass of society. There are youth who truly want to do well but get trapped in an “After School Void”. These are the ones who’s parents are either to busy with work or may be so caught up with substance abuse that they provide no real quality time, no leadership and no true love for their children. Make no mistake about it America’s Urban Youth and young people the world over are confronted with the greatest challenges and threats to their general safety, emotional stability and health than at any time of the modern era. An increased economic divide between the haves and the have-nots only serves to confirm the need for increased support. The ones that suffer the most and fall through the cracks of this economic divide are the ones least qualified to help themselves. These are the endangered “Youth at Risk” that we seek to help with our “NBA All-Star Week Youth Benefit”. Please review the enclosed “Sponsorship Offer” for your corporate consideration and feel free to call me at 323.377.3837 for further discussion and specific details. Sincerely,

VIA EMAIL Stanley Washington Donald E. Thornton 4299 Lucas Ave. Las Vegas, NV 89120 October 31, 2006 RE: PUBLICITY CAMPAIGN Dear Mr. Washington and Mr. Thornton, The following is a summary of what we discussed in my office Monday, October, 30, 2006, concerning publicity, public relations and our personal, professional contacts with significant individuals in show business, sports world and business entertainment executives in all related fields. Our strategy is very straight forward without being cumbersome. Our experience in the world of publicity spans five decades, before there was even television. We’ve dealt with A-listers in every profession: Frank Sinatra (26 yrs.), Barbara Streisand (33 yrs.), Chrysler Corporation (22 yrs.) and all of their programs they sponsored on television such as The World Fair in New York City, two World Series, three All-Star games, five Bob Hope Golf Tournaments and other sports major activities, Caesars Palace (18 yrs.) starting with the one year before they opened and all of their major programs such as World Championship fights with Muhammad Ali, Yamaha racing championships, Pancho Gonzales World Championship Tennis Matches and Joe Lewis being a host at Caesars Palace, City of Las Vegas, Vegas Convention Bureau, Beatles, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, two presidential inaugural gala’s for President Ronald Regan, etc. The ability to make contact with appropriate individuals, movers and shakers, to assist in building the image of the event is one of our strong assets. We have dealt with David Stern’s various branches of his office because of our involvement with appropriate activities. Also, represented Muhammad Ali’s Fight Night special to raise funds for Parkinson’s diseases. Focus will be centered on hitting the proper entities; i.e. press (print, TV and radio) and not to forget decision makers (whether it be entertainment, corporate and related principles). Persuading decision makers to have the events recognized as an official sanctioned NBA event. To make notice this is the first time the NBA All-Star game will be played in Las Vegas. Also, to emphasize and make prevalent awareness that all activities are for the benefit of children.

Making the appropriate telephone calls, disseminating releases (nationally and in certain cases internationally), feature suggestions, etc. to the media, A-list celebrities, sponsors, etc. Elevate the general visibility within the industry, highlighting its present and future achievements and set it above and beyond other organizations involved in other fundraising events. Establish press-kits with the basic and necessary information: biographies, photographs, DVDs and letters from prominent personalities from all fields expressing their support for your events. Seek opportunities for exposure beyond the normal channels, be it specialty TV outlets or cable channels or niche publications that can dedicate more time and detail to “Las Vegas NBA All-Star Week Youth Benefit Concert” unique undertakings. Take advantage for coverage of “special issues” that routinely surface in the sport magazines, show business trade publications, etc. on specific topics and events. It’s a matter of teamwork. We know what you want, we know what is needed and we know how to do it- -as we have many, many times. Last Saturday, October. 28th, we represented, as we have for 25 years the Carousel of Hope, the world’s largest single evening fundraising event enjoying international coverage and articles (with photographs) in major newspapers, magazines and national television coverage. Best wishes,
