					TERMS & CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
ONE HD PROMOTION: HARVEY NORMAN/PANASONIC

Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry. Entry into this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Conditions of Entry by each entrant. Entry is open to Australian residents 18 years old and over. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and participating retailers and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter the promotion. Promotion commences at 12:01am (AEST) on 31/07/2009 and closes at 11:59pm (AEST) on 31/08/2009. Participants are required to purchase any Panasonic High Definition Product from participating Harvey Norman, Domayne or Joyce Mayne stores to obtain the product barcode. Each Panasonic High Definition product purchase allows the participant an entry form. Participants may enter the competition by completing the official entry form found in participating Harvey Norman, Domayne or Joyce Mayne stores with the requested details and submit the entry form in one of the boxes provided in store. Details collected include (but are not limited to) full name, address, phone number and prize preference. The entrant will go into the draw for the specific prize that has been checked off on the entry form. Incomplete or illegible forms will be deemed invalid. Entries must be received by 11:59pm o 31/08/2009. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries. Entry into the promotion is free. Entrants must retain a copy of their original purchase receipt(s) for all entries as proof of purchase. Failure to provide proof of purchase is at the absolute discretion of the Promoter which may result in the invalidation of all of an entrant’s entries and forfeiture of any right to a prize. The competition will be advertised on Network TEN, ONE HD and ten.com.au. Multiple entries permitted throughout the promotion period, subject to the following: (a) only one (1) entry permitted per specified purchase requirement; (b) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements.

10) The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. 11) The Major draws will take place at 3.00pm (AEST) on 11/09/2009 at the premises of Be.interactive, Level 9, 155 George St Sydney NSW 2000. The winner will be notified by telephone and mail or email and their name will be published in The Australian on 21/09/09. All reasonable steps to notify the winner of the results of the draws will be taken by the Promoter. The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 12) Prize Details: 1. TOTAL PRIZE POOL VALUED AT UP TO $156,890 13) All other costs associated with the prize, including but not limited to any meals, beverages, laundry services, additional spending money, travel insurance, and all other ancillary costs not expressly provided, as well as obtaining any of these, are the responsibility of the winner and their travel companions. The prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other discounts or special offers. Use of any passes, tickets and vouchers issued as part of the prize are subject to prevailing terms and conditions of use and are only valid for use within the stated duration on the passes, tickets or vouchers issued or the duration of the winner’s prize, whichever is earlier. 14) By entering this competition, entrants accept and acknowledge full responsibility for their decision to participate in the prize should they be chosen as winners. The winners release the promoter and other organisers, their related bodies corporate, affiliates, officers, agents and employees, from all liabilities, loss and damage of any kind arising at any time out of or in connection with the acceptance of, and participation in, the prize. Without limiting the foregoing, the released parties not be liable for any injury, sickness or death, property loss or damage or other direct or indirect loss or damage of any kind, howsoever sustained or incurred, in connection with or arising out of taking any aspect of the prize. 15) It is the traveller’s personal responsibility to ensure that they have valid documentation, including but not limited to identification, Visas which meet the requirements of government authorities at the destination. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be the sole responsibility of the travellers. 16) Frequent flyer points will not form part of the prize. Winner may be required to present credit card at time of accommodation check in. Prize is subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers. 17) Prizes must be taken on the dates stipulated above and is subject to booking and flight availability. No extension or variation of these travel dates will be permitted and if the winner is unable to take the prize on the dates as specified by the Promoter, it is at the discretion of the promoter if the prize can be transferred

or the entire prize is forfeited and no compensation will be payable to the winner. If the prize is forfeited a re-draw may take place at the discretion of the Promoter. 18) All prizes are subject to the event venue and ticket terms and conditions, including any applicable age restriction. The Promoter and event organizers hereby expressly reserve the right to eject any winner (and/or his/her companion/s) for any inappropriate behaviour, including but not limited to intoxication, whilst participating in any element of the prize. 19) No compensation will be payable if the winner, or their travel companions, are unable to use any element of the prize as stated for whatever reason. The prize must be taken as offered and cannot be varied. The prize, or any unused portions of the prize, are not transferable or exchangeable for other goods or services and cannot be taken as cash. 20) All components of the prizes must be taken together and based on 2 people department from the same location traveling together. Accommodation and travel is subject to booking, accommodation and flight availability. No changes can be made once booked. 21) The Promoter accept no responsibility any variation in prize value and do not accept any responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. The Promoter accept no responsibility for prizes lost or damaged in transit. 22) If for any reason a prize becomes unavailable due to circumstances outside of the Promoter's reasonable control, the Promoter reserve the right to award a similar substitute prize (including an alternative travel prize at an alternative destination at an alternative date as specified by the Promoter) of equal value, subject to State or Territory legislation. 23) Entrants must only enter in their own name. The Promoter reserves the right to request the winners to produce appropriate photo identification or other documentation (to the Promoter’s satisfaction) in order to confirm their identity, age, eligibility to enter and claim a prize and any information submitted by the entrant in entering the promotion before issuing a prize. If the documentation required by the Promoter is not received by the Promoter (or its nominated agent) or the winning entrant has not been verified or validated to the Promoter’s satisfaction within the time requested, that winner’s entry will become invalid. The prizes will only be awarded following any winner validation and verification that the Promoter requires in its sole discretion. 24) The Promoter reserves the right to request the winners’ travel companion or guest (as applicable) to produce (within the requested time) appropriate photo identification or other documentation (to the Promoter’s satisfaction, at its sole discretion) in order to confirm their identity and age before issuing a prize. 25) The Promoter may conduct such further draws at the same place as the original draw as are necessary on 21/12/09 12:00pm AEST in order to distribute the prize if it remains unclaimed by that date subject however to any written directions from a regulatory authority. In the event of a winner in the unclaimed prize draw, their name will be published in The Australian on 28/12/09. 26) Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter and its associated agencies and companies (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) in the event any of the prize events are cancelled for any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (f) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (g) use of a prize. 27) In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster (including natural disaster) or any other circumstance beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter , subject to any applicable laws or written directions made under applicable State or Territory legislation, the Promoter reserves the right to either provide an alternative travel prize (including an alternative destination at an alternative date as specified by the Promoter) to the same value as the original prize, or to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion. 28) The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for (i) tampering with the entry process (ii) submitting an entry which is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry and/or (iii) if the entrant is engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct

calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved. 29) The Promoter will not be responsible for any incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information communicated in the course of, or in connection with, this promotion if the deficiency is occasioned by any cause outside the reasonable control of the Promoter. 30) In the case of the intervention of any outside agent or event which naturally changes the result or prevents or hinders it's determination, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes; the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the event and recommence it from the start on the same conditions subject to state legislation. 31) If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned because of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, technical failures or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion, subject to any written directions under State or Territory legislation. 32) Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant's name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration or compensation for the purpose of promoting, publicising or marketing this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter. The winner agrees to participate in all reasonable promoted activities in relation to the Promotion as requested by the Promoter and its agents. 33) All entries become and remain the property of the Promoter. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information. 34) By entering the promotion, each entrant agrees that the Promoter may publish or cause to be published the winner’s name, and locality in any media as required under the relevant lottery legislation. 35) All personal information will be stored at the office of the Promoter. 36) The Promoter is Network TEN Pty Ltd, 1 Saunders Street, Pyrmont NSW 2009.
