Tuition & Fees Information
The rates listed below are for the 2006-2007 Academic Year. UIUC-established tuition and fees rates for Fall 2007 onward will increase slightly. We will notify you of these new rates as soon as they are determined. All expenses are estimates, meant solely to give students an idea of the expenses encountered during a semester in the Illinois at the Phillips program.

NOTES: 1 Deposit = $300 security deposit for program-sponsored housing (Refundable only at the END of the Fall semester, less any apartment damages; nonrefundable if you withdraw from the Phillips Program) + $50 application fee (Nonrefundable) 2 Semester tuition for a full-time (12 credit hours) Illinois resident, based on Academic Year 2006-2007 College of FAA base rate tuition. Rates will increase for the 2007-2008 Academic Year. 3 This includes the General Fee and Health Insurance Fee only. All other fees will not be assessed, as students are not on campus for the semester. 4 $300 per month x 4 months. 5 $1.35 Metrorail fare (from housing to Phillips) x 10 times a week x 16 weeks. 1

TEACHING ASSISTANTSHPS Graduate students who receive a 25% time assistantship will receive a full tuition/fees waiver in addition to a monthly stipend. Stipend amounts are equivalent to those given for on-campus Art & Design assistantships.
