SECTION ONE. TABLING
Tabling is an activity which takes place in association with a public event. Materials to use for TABLING Please spread on your table the enclosed materials, in the following groups • To educate: • (1) GMO Dangers Q&A • (2) GMO Health Risks Brochure • (3) NO GMO Shopping Guide • (4) No GMO Pocket Guide • To engage: • The petition to the Board of Supervisors, on the attached clipboard • The Volunteer Sign-up sheet • To raise funds for our ongoing activities • sell bumper-stickers • ask for donations to the cause

SECTION TWO. LETTER WRITING
The purpose of this activity is to: • create a sense of massive support for the campaign; • engage medical professionals and doctors in support of the campaign Post-card with instructions coming soon.

SECTION THREE. FILM SCREENINGS
The purpose of this activity is to: • engage the public • educate on the dangers of GMO

Public screenings
John and Daniella are available to host public screenings. We are working hard to organize a massive public screening and invite Michael Pollan, Eric Schlosser or another media persona to discuss the issues. We will distribute films for your use at our next meeting.

SECTION FOUR. PUBLIC OFFICIAL EDUCATION
Many of us have contact with elected officials. They are busy people. It is up to us to educate them on the GMO issues. Furthermore, it is very important that they understand the issues so they could make the right decisions when the opportunity presents. SECTION FIVE. BUILDING COALITION AND CAMPAIGN SUPPORT
This is a really important activity of the campaign and involves getting other organizations to endorse the letter to the Board of Supervisors. Please make sure that you have met with an official representing the organization, and obtain their seal, or official signature to endorse the letter. SECTION SEVEN. MEDIA

Traditional Media
We are in the process of developing relationship with editors, writers and news anchors and educate them on the issues and their importance to the community. Please give Daniella a call if you have a good relationship with an editor or a news person. Media coverage will be very important for the success of the campaign.

New Media
We are on facebook: GMO-free Monterey county Lets get as many members as we possibly can. Everyone knows Monterey county.

SECTION EIGHT. FUNDRAISING
Over the next month we will produce materials to use in your fundraising efforts. In addition, we would like to organize: • a major film screening • a benefit concert • other events that will raise awareness and allow us to raise funds for this important cause.
