Častá - Papiernička (Účelové zariadenie kancelárie NR SR, 40 km from Bratislava) Regarding that not before long the publication in the Official Journal of EC of the “Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council establishing a framework for Community action to achieve a sustainable use of pesticides” is anticipated, SCPA considers necessary to start a discussion focused on the implementation of requirements as emanating from the said Directive. At the same time we are to remind that the implementation of the Directive into Slovakian legal order will require a joint co-ordination of more industrial branches including professional and general public and that its impact will apply not only to plant protection products suppliers, but also those who apply them when working agricultural land, including forest. This workshop is therefore targeted on legal and natural persons conducting plant production, importers and suppliers of plant protection products, relevant national administration representatives, professional interest groups, agricultural academicians and other eventual stakeholders. Participants to this workshop will get familiarised with the position of European crop protection products industries concerning emptied containers management system (CMS), positive aspects of these and with the current situation concerning the collection and management of emptied containers in Slovakia.
