ORDER AWARDING TEMPORARY CUSTODY
Purpose:
This is the form used to grant temporary custody of children to a parent or guardian. After the filing of a petition concerning the custody and care of a child(ren), the court may provide for the temporary care and custody of such child(ren) pending a hearing or disposition of the matter. If the court determines temporary custody is appropriate and necessary, the order is issued. The original order is stored in the court case file. Copies of the order are given to the parents or guardians of the child(ren) at issue.
